The Body Shop Indian Night Jasmine Fragrance Mist Review

Hi Girls,

Yesterday, I went to TBS for a shower gel from their “Scents of the World” Collection.  I was determined to quickly buy the shower gel and not even look at the other things on display in the museum called “The Body Shop.”

The Body Shop Indian Night Jasmine Fragrance Mist Review

Product Description:

Escape to India with night jasmine. A light spritz infused with Indian Night Jasmine. This seductive, feminine blend of floral and oriental accords was inspired by a moonlit night in a Mughal garden.

Ingredients:

Alcohol Denat. (Solvent/Diluent), Aqua/Water (Solvent/Diluent), Parfum/Fragrance (Fragrance), Linalool (Fragrance Ingredient), Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone (Fragrance Ingredient), Coumarin (Fragrance Ingredient), Benzyl Salicylate (Fragrance Ingredient), Citronellol (Fragrance Ingredient), Hexyl Cinnamal (Fragrance Ingredient), Hydroxycitronellal (Fragrance Ingredient), Denatonium Benzoate (Denaturant).

Night Jasmine Body Spray 1

Price:

Rs. 945 for 100 ml (got 15% TBS member discount).

My Experience with The Body Shop Indian Night Jasmine Fragrance Mist:

I asked the SA for the Indian jasmine shower gel and she brought the gel along with the mist. I love the gel not for its moisturizing properties, but solely for its fragrance. The moment I saw the mist, I had to sniff it :P and girls, I felt the same soothing fragrance of the gel, but of course, it was a tad bit stronger. I thanked the SA for bringing the mist and the rest is history.

Night Jasmine Body Spray 2

The packaging is the same old boring TBS packaging with a small silver cap. I have only one word to describe the fragrance and that is “soothing.”  Some fragrances are refreshing, some are floral, some are musky, but I never tried a calming fragrance before. Girls, if you want to steal a moment from a fast-paced life, just try this fragrance, I am sure you will escape the hustle bustle and feel very light. It’s not typical old lady type jasmine, neither it’s fruity or too flowery, but somehow it magically calms me down the moment I spray or smell it. I feel very relaxed and at peace with myself :)

Night Jasmine Body Spray 3

The staying power is hardly 4 hours and I happily re-apply it as it is not at all overpowering. It’s very different from all the sugary fragrances that TBS has and I wish I could get a perfume of this fragrance someday.

Pros of The Body Shop Indian Night Jasmine Fragrance Mist:

  • Very lovely soothing fragrance.
  • Different from other TBS sugary fragrances.
  • Has a calming effect.

Cons of The Body Shop Indian Night Jasmine Fragrance Mist:

  • Boring packaging.
  • Poor staying power.

IMBB Rating:

4/5.
