This light, milky body lotion has a delicate white-floral scent. It hydrates skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth.

My take on The Body Shop Moringa Milk Body Lotion:
Packaging: It comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip cap. The entire cap can even be screwed open. The flip cap shuts tight so it is quite a travel friendly packaging. Also the transparent bottle helps in finding out how much is left.
Fragrance:Well, I had bought this lotion only for its fragrance but it actually disappointed me. I am a die hard fan of jasmine flower and when I read moringa I knew I had to buy this but this smells very strongly of “ chameli ka tael”, the initial spurt is very strong and sensitive noses will definitely not like it. Thought the fragrance subsides with time but still it remains quite overpowering for quite some time.
Consistency: It is quite a runny liquid. Lotions are generally semi thick and this is the first lotion which I am using with such a consistency although I have no complaints. The best part is less is more, only a small quantity is needed to cover the arms or legs. It takes some time to get absorbed and does not seep in completely.
Efficacy: As far as keeping body moisturised is concerned, I would give it full marks. My skin felt totally moisturised for a long time. It took care of dry patches on the body. I would not really recommend it for summers as it may be heavy but during winters it should be wonderful.
Summarising the pros and cons:
Pros of The Body Shop Moringa Milk Body Lotion:
1. Sturdy packaging.
2. Very less quantity needed.
3. Keeps skin moisturised.
4. Keeps skin soft and supple
Cons of The Body Shop Moringa Milk Body Lotion:
1. The smell is too strong and it does not smell of jasmine.
2. May be a little heavy during summers.
3. Does not get completely absorbed.
4. Long list of ingredients including alcohol.
5. Not true to its claim of delicate fragrance
Will I repurchase/ Do I recommend The Body Shop Moringa Milk Body Lotion?
No, I will not repurchase. Fragrances are very personal in nature so I can not say that I do not recommend the lotion. Please sniff it before buying, if you like it then go ahead, it does its job quite nicely
