The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Hand and Nail Cream Review

The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Hand and Nail Cream Review

As you all know, I am a sucker for Body Shop stuff 😛 I love how amazing most of their products smell, and how they are packaged, and most of them have worked for me. I bought this one in the recent “End of Season Sale,” so I got 50% off.  I have been wanting to buy a nice hand cream for a while now. All this while I was using the Oriflame Limited Edition Cherry and Mocha Hand Cream. I saw some reviews here about L’Occitane’s hand creams too, but since this was on sale, I couldn’t resist 😀 Read on to find out if I loved it or if it was just “meh.”

The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Hand and Nail Cream Review

I have used the Body Shop Moroccan Rose Body Butter and I loved it.  Normally floral scents are not my thing, but this smells heavenly. The hand cream comes in a light pink plastic tube packaging with maroon lettering and a usual flip-open transparent cap.

Price:

Rs. 551/- for 75 ml.

Product Description:

Use daily for soft, moisturized hands. With Community Trade shea butter and organic babassu oil.  The hand cream is non-greasy, yet feels very luxurious. It glides across skin and I love how soft my hands feel after using this.

My Experience with The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Hand and Nail Cream

The lingering scent it leaves isn’t overpowering, yet it is great for layering too, with perfume, as it’s subtle.  I am already seeing a difference in my hands after using this.  They are a lot softer and more moisturized. My skin is always insanely dry, and worse in winter, so this is pretty good for it.

The only little grouse I have with this is that it has a flip-open cap. I hate when the product collects around the opening, and this mostly happens with flip-open caps. It would have been nice to keep it simple with a normal twist-to-open type of cap. Not a major con for most of you though, I am sure this is my inner OCD freak talking! 😛

To sum up:

Pros of The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Hand and Nail Cream:

  • Lovely fragrance.
  • Neither too runny nor too thick.
  • Not heavy yet luxurious.
  • Makes hands very soft.

Cons of The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Hand and Nail Cream:

  • The flip-open cap is annoying for me, may not be for others 😛
  • The price is steep (so try to get it during the sale, like I did!)

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5
