The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter Review

It is raining offers here with Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I’m hoping for more to come 😛 Every brand is releasing their new products. The Body Shop has launched a few new products as well. One among them is the “Vineyard Peach” collection, which includes a Body Butter, Body Scrub and Shower Gel. I was eyeing all the 3 products, but restricted myself to buy only the body butter, as I have tons of shower gels to finish 🙂

My Experience with The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter:

The Body Shop body butters do not need an introduction. TBS USA website has an interesting feature. You can find out which body butter is for what skin type. I’m not sure about seeing this on the Indian website of the brand. They have categorized into 3 types – normal skin, normal to dry skin, and dry to very dry skin.

This body butter one comes under “Normal to Dry Skin” category. I have the same skin type. Let’s see if it worked for me.

It comes in a traditional tub and has a nice image of the peach fruit on top of it. TBS has changed their cover image on all body butter tubs and I like the new simple look of it. Have you smelled fresh peaches ? This body butter smells exactly like that. Neither a bit more nor a bit less. I have used their coconut body butter, but that had a bit of synthetic fragrance, but this one smells so true to the name. If you have not smelled peaches ever, then plums are closer in smell to that.

Though the smell is mild and good, I wish it had a bit of floral note to it, just a personal preference though.

The texture is smooth and a little goes a long way. Make sure not to use too much butter, or it would feel a little greasy. I use this product just out of shower and I don’t feel the need to moisturize until next day.

Pros of The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter:

Lovely mild fragrance.
A little product goes a long way, would last me long.
Keeps skin moisturized the whole day.
Can be used during day or night time.

Cons of The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Body Butter:

If you do not like fruity fragrance, then this is not for you. I don’t see any cons to this body butter otherwise. A very good fragrance to try.
This is a limited edition fragrance and I’m not sure if it will be launched in India . Girls who have a chance, do try it at the store. If you like it , grab it before it goes 🙂
