Bollywood Actresses in Kanjivaram Silk Sarees

Kanjivaram or Kanchipuram sarees are silk sarees made in Kanchipuram of Tamil Nadu.  Kanjeevaram sarees are one of the finest silk sarees available in India and each saree is woven with a lot of care and dedication.  It takes up to 4 months to weave a single kanjivaram saree and they come in different colours and patterns with silk and zari work.  Kanjivaram sarees are very heavy and have very rich and intricate woven work. All across South India, Kanjivaram sarees are chosen as the bridal saree because its considered very auspicious to wear on the wedding day.  The weavers in Kanchipuram follow certain rituals while weaving the bridal saree, so it makes the saree much more special.  I have a collection of Kanjivaram sarees that I don’t even touch because they are very heavy and I can’t give them away because they are so pretty to look at :| :| Let’s look at the Bollywood divas who have worn Kanjivaram sarees and looked graceful in them.

Tamanna Bhatia:  She looks absolutely gorgeous in sarees, more so in the pretty Kanjivaram sarees.

I LOVE Deepika! She’s sooooo pretty! She’s the prettiest actress these days, she reminds me strongly of Aishwarya. Both are unbelievably beautiful :)
