Today I will be reviewing another body lotion for summer. This again my cousin got for me from UK. Reading the name of the product made me so excited. This is the best summer body lotion I have tried so far.

This Boots Essential moisturiser contains extract of cucumber to help gently soften and soothe your skin. It is suitable for all skin types.

My Experience with Boots Essentials Cucumber Moisturising Lotion:

The lotion comes in a simple light green color bottle which is easy to carry around. I love the light and non-greasy texture of this lotion. The moisturising lotion gets quickly absorbed and leaves the skin feeling very soft and does not make it feel very oily so this would be good for people with oily skin. It is very hydrating and leaves skin fully moisturised for at least 10 hours. It does not leave any greasy residue, just a lovely cooling sensation that is perfect for the summer.

You cannot go wrong with this lotion, its smells lovely and the smell is not over powering. I love the delicate cucumbery/melony scent.I love cucumber in beauty products. I always think that its high water content must be really good for our skin. I always find it has a calming scent too, which is probably why we say “as cool as a cucumber”.

This moisturiser has SPF 15 rating, which is not so great for outdoor purpose. But if you have to stay inside, it is perfectly appropriate. It gives both UVA and UVB protection. It is also enriched with cucumber and vitamins, making it suitable for day or night use, and antioxidants to help protect the skin from environmental damage.

I absolutely love this product; it’s probably my favorite moisturizer I’ve used so far in the summer. It soothes my skin and leaves it well moisturized without being greasy.
