My Experience with Boots Essentials Sun UVA/UVB Protection Moisturising SPF 40:
The reason I picked this sunscreen for the first time because I was in search of a very good sunscreen lotion for a very long time and considering the climate and heat in most of the parts of India, one needs to really take care of the skin from damaging it. The tube is not all that attractive to look at, the first glance. It’s a very basic packaging for regular use, nothing fancy.
The color of the product is milky white and the consistency is semi liquid as in it’s on the thicker side. It has a weird smell, fragrance which, while applying can certainly be felt. Maybe for people who are sensitive to bold fragrances might have a problem with it. The smell eventually fades a bit not completely in the course of time. It stings the eye a little sometimes and makes it watery too. While applying it on the face it needs to be properly massaged and absorbed into the skin or else it can look chalky on the skin’s surface.
After a while the cream settles very well in the skin and gives a very healthy shine and glow to the face. The best part is in spite of having such a high SPF also it does not breaks you out, does not tans the skin and true to its type it totally guards your skin against the harsh sun rays for the longest of time. It does protect’s the skin for a very long period of time and it does not needs to be re-applied at all.
