Boots Hair Spa Kaew Conditioner Review

Hello gorgeous ladies,

I recently reviewed the Boots Hair Spa Kaew shampoo and now I present you the conditioner. It is always a wise idea to pick up an entire range because that is how it is more effective and shows faster results. “Kaew” is one flower that I have never heard about and never heard of any product made out of this hence I really wanted to try how it worked!

Boots Hair Spa Kaew Conditioner description

This moisturising hair spa shampoo contains sweet notes of Kaew flower, with royal jelly extract and olive fruit oil to help soften and smooth hair. Also contains panthenol and glycerine to help condition whilst leaving hair manageable.

Directions to Use:
After shampooing gently massage conditioner evenly through your hair. Leave on for 2-3 minutes and rinse off with water.

My Experience with Boots Hair Spa Kaew Conditioner:

The boots hair spa conditioner comes in a big outward curved bottle which is white in colour. The lid gives a look of some kind of a tin. The bottle looks very unique and it looks like it has some magic potion inside it. It has a label at the bottom revealing some fresh flowers called “kaew”. The bottle is sleek but it is not transparent which makes it difficult to keep a check on the quantity. The quantity is huge but it had to be, because it is highly priced considering boots as a drugstore brand.
The conditioner comes in a whitish yellow colour and it looks weird. I have never seen a conditioner look this gritty. It is not smooth look-wise and is pretty thick and gooey. The reason why I call the consistency “Not so smooth” is because it does not come out no matter what I do. Even if I tilt the bottle completely the conditioner does not appear on my palms. I have to press the bottle hard to get some quantity out, it just become so tedious.

From then on, I am keeping the bottle inverted to get the conditioner at the bottom. The conditioner has an amazingly fresh and natural fragrance of some fresh flowers that bloom in the morning. The scent is very unique and different than what we use regularly. It relaxes and calms down the senses a lot. The conditioner treats my hair well and makes them really soft and shiny. No one can say that my hair might have gone through so many chemical treatments.
The olive oil extract in the conditioner does make my hair very manageable and they fly very naturally. But the ends do look a little damaged because this one does not control frizz. Also the results are not completely like a hair spa, but yes it does improve the look of the hair. But I can surely not call it a “Hair Spa” conditioner because the results were not up to the mark. Also the conditioner can be easily substituted because any other conditioner can do what this did.

Pros of Boots Hair Spa Kaew Conditioner:

• Good amount of quantity loaded in the bottle.
• It can be listed under the travel-friendly category because it is very light-weight.
• The conditioner gets applied smoothly on the hair and does not give hair-fall even when massaged.
• It makes my hair bouncy and shiny.
• It makes my hair soft, smooth and healthy-looking.
• It makes my hair extremely silky and I can totally see the olive oil doing its work as I cannot see brittle hair.
• A great gentle option which can be used daily as well.
• The scent is a very relaxing and a soothing one and smells like fresh flowers with an aromatic burst.

Cons of Boots Hair Spa Kaew Conditioner:

• Does not control frizz at all.
• It does not control the static hence my hair keeps flying here and there
• The conditioner does not come out of the bottle even though I shake it so much; I literally have to press it hard to remove some conditioner.
• The consistency is a bit weird.
• It can be easily substituted.
• It does not give results completely like a hair spa.
• Expensive if I take into account the way it worked.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Boots Hair Spa Kaew Conditioner?
No I will not get it again and won’t even recommend it because it is nothing special; I have used so many better conditioners than this one. And the shape of the bottle makes it very difficult to use the conditioner hence i will totally skip this one.

IMBB Rating: 3/5

Conclusion:

I think this brand is pretty average and although this gives good results, they have stuff that can be easily substituted.
