What it is: A fine mist that minimizes pores, gently mattifies, and sets makeup while keeping skin hydrated.
What it is formulated to do: White Charcoal helps keep moisture locked in and provides long-term skin benefits. Skin is left shine-free yet hydrated, and makeup is locked in place.

My Experience with Boscia White Charcoal Mattifying MakeUp Setting Spray:

The fine mist comes in sturdy plastic see-through bottle packaging with pump dispenser and black cap. It does have faint medicinal smell which quickly subsides post application hence no complaints. Over all I absolutely liked its user friendly and travel friendly bottle.

The white charcoal infused fine mist looks pale milky white in appearance and I can see the fine white charcoal particles in its formulation. And as they claim, I really feel hydrating dewy and pore-less finish with this mist. I was first introduced to this gem on one of my stage shows and the way it made my skin polished, pore-less and dewy soft, I knew I have to get it. However before I brag about its features let me make you aware of the few points which should be taken into consideration while you work with this mist.

Firstly it requires some serious shaking to dissolve the white particles so that it leaves just dewy mist on our skin and not leaving white patches. Yes gals, it has the tendency to leave white shimmery residue on skin but no worries as we can easily dab it on skin and it simply melt onto smooth texture thereafter.

Secondly we just have to be careful with arm distance or the sudden gush of fluid might dissolve our contoured, highlighted portion; yes, I have been there at times when my neat contouring and highlighting was all stormed by sudden mist strokes. Thankfully it is very forgiving and easily absorbs on skin with gentle dabbing strokes leaving behind oil free subtle dewy and softer skin texture which stays put for good 8+ hours. It is not a joke, the way it made my skin look, feel and even appear flawless smooth and not oily even after 6-7 hours. I have worn it many times during my shows and stage performances since then and every time it just keeps my creamy, powdery makeup at place. I even use it as base primer for minimal makeup days and it creates a smoother, pore-less canvas for tinted makeup much to my love.

In fact I own the Urban Decay De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray and still I reach out for this white charcoal spray for the ease of usage and for the smoothest makeup which lasts exceptionally long on my oily skin type; I mean it is better than UD. The fact that it does not make me look greasy yet imparts illusion of soft glowing skin with smooth texture and matte finish is unbeatable. The best part is that, my skin feels equally smooth and blemish-free even after makeup removal; how cool is that? Yes gals, I never feel irritation in my eyes or skin regardless of wearing it for 8+ hours; my makeup stays intact with no melting off, just clean and clear skin, as if makeup is freshly applied. I just spray it on my bare skin at times for plumping, hydrated finish that it imparts on skin, making me look better even with just a kohl and lip balm. I am sure it will work well on every skin tone and skin type including beauties with acne prone skin or dry skin. Needless to say I am hooked onto this charcoal product just like their charcoal sponge. Let’s sum up pros and cons,
