Eye pencil! It is one of the most important makeup accessories that resides in my vanity box. I don’t even remember running out of my eye pencils. I usually prefer black, but if any gorgeous shade attracts me, it definitely pops into my handbag (after paying for it, of course!). I love the variety of eye pencil shades offered by Kiko Milano, especially mint, plums, and pinks. They are just stunning! Anyway, this time I liked Bourjois Khol and Contour Eye Pencil Ultra Pencil and here is the review.

My Experience with Bourjois Khol and Contour Eye Pencil Ultra Black:
Bourjois Khol and Contour Eye Pencil Ultra Pencil is a neatly packaged pencil. I really like the intensity of the colour and how effortlessly buildable it is. It is easy to sharpen and it is extremely soft on the waterline; however, I don’t prefer to apply this on my waterline much as it is constantly moist. It is smudge proof and yes the pigmentation is fairly good. The texture of the eye pencil is ultra-smooth and it can be conveniently applied on your upper and lower lash line and waterline.
It is easy to use. There is no skin dragging as it glides on smoothly. It claims to hold the colour for 16 hours; but, come on! You and I know about these claims! Yes, it stays for long but not more than our office hours. During the course of our day, the shade slowly begins to fade out; a touch up would be required by a few. It is not very creamy but glides on comfortably, causing no skin irritation. However, it doesn’t dry out at all. It stays silky, lasts long and tidy.
It is very soft, fine and even delicate! As it is a little fragile, you need to be careful during application as it has a tendency to break. The pencil holds a fine and good quality and so there is no feathering or spreading at all. It contains natural wax and vitamin E which helps the liner to stay pigmented and look natural.
It is quite convenient to remove the liner with a normal makeup remover (at least I didn’t find any issue with it). Yes, it is a plain eye pencil – no glitter, no shimmer and no sparks, which is quite practical for everyday use. I apply this liner quite frequently and it is quite durable. So overall, it is definitely a good product from Bourjois. It is smudge proof, stays on for long and has a smooth texture.
It perfectly defines your eyes and goes well with other eye makeup products. It is already a little dark and you can increase the intensity of the shade. This eyeliner perfectly matches light and heavy makeup. It creates a wonderful effect which works delightfully for everyone. For people who love to indulge into various shades, it is available in 7 shades.
