While I was doing my rounds like an inspector 😉 , checking out all products at a retail outlet, my eyes fell on this beautiful pencil. I wanted a light green with golden shimmer shade. I tried it on my hand and immediately liked it. I wore it on my eyes and was loitering around the store.

Product Claims: Bourjois Duochrome Eyeliner Pencil (Regard Effet Duochrome) is an eye pencil with double reflections for a real duochrome effect. It is enriched with interferential pearls which change colour depending on the light. The high concentration in pigments provides intense shades for the eyes. The soft and smooth lead has been enriched with natural wax so that it glides comfortably across lids with the lightest touch, meaning that smooth lines are easily achieved on both the upper and lower lids.

Price: Rs 330/- for 1.17 gms.

My Experience with Bourjois Regard Effet Duochrome 61 Vert dore Eyeliner:

The shade is a lovely combination of 2 colours with a chrome metallic finish. It is a gorgeous mutant green with no glitter or sparkle. Once applied it pops and glows on the eyelids. The liner actually changed colour depending on the light, as the pigments pick up and reflect light. They apply smoothly without dragging.

One swipe gives a decent colour and if swiped twice gives the exact shade as seen on the pencil. The pigmentation is great at this price. The pencil is very creamy and easy to apply. My eyelids are oily but it wont smudge, once it sets on the eyes, unless rubbed harshly. I have used it as an eye shadow and it blends well.

It stayed for about 5 hours as eyeliner, without smudging and as an eye shadow, it stayed for about 4 hours. It did smudge as an eye shadow, but did not mess up other eye makeup. This is a very decent staying power, as most eye wear products starts fading beyond 5 hours.

This will work on any skin tone and it is a must have in the makeup box.
