Product Description:
An intensive, deep conditioning hair treatment.  What it is formulated to do:  This deep conditioning hair mask delivers an optimal blend of transformative hair nutrients, such as B vitamins, rosehip and argan oils, collagen, and silk to restore and replenish damaged hair to a shiny, healthy state. Comprised of 95 percent naturally-derived ingredients, hair is left smooth, hydrated, and lustrous.  It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates. This product is free of silicones, artificial fragrances, artificial dyes, and gluten. It is cruelty-free and contains organic ingredients.

Ingredients:

• Rosehip Oil: Rich in essential fatty acids, which are crucial in maintaining hair hydration and controlling frizz.
• Almond Oil: Enhances shine and luster and nourishes dry or weak hair; smooths the hair cuticle and locks in moisture.
• B Vitamins: Improve hair texture and adds body and sheen; helps repair split ends and restores nourishment to hair damaged by heat and/or chemical treatments.
• Avocado Oil: Replenishes and maintains inner hair moisture and nourishment.

My Experience with Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask:

Packaging:  Comes in a simple tub. I would have preferred a squeeze tube or a bottle with a dispenser just because it is easier to use in the shower.

Texture/Consistency:  This hair mask has a wonderful texture. It has that whipped cream-like texture which makes it very easy to apply and spread onto damp hair. You need just a little bit. For my below shoulder length hair, I need about a 2-finger dollop. I use this hair mask in place of my conditioner after shampoo.

Results:  This is a very good hair mask for all hair types. My hair is naturally dry and fine which is prone to frizz. I don’t have much damage to my hair as I do not chemically treat my hair. I feel like this hair mask gives my hair enough hydration and conditioning to help my hair feel healthy, soft and smooth though it had very little effect in controlling frizz which was a slight disappointment.

Since this hair mask is very lightweight, it never weighs my fine hair down. My hair feels bouncy and has volume after using this. It never made my hair feel greasy or sticky and I never felt that it caused buildup in my hair. I love how the ingredients list is full of good, healthy ingredients like avocado oil, argan oil, etc., and that it free of harmful ingredients like parabens.

Fragrance:  It has a very pleasant fruity scent which I like. It does not linger on hair long after wash. Overall, I do like this mask but if you are looking a very hydrating and deep intensive hair mask to repair hair damage, this is not it. This more likely works best as an occasional conditioner replacement, but if you are on the hunt for a lightweight conditioner which hydrates hair but does not weigh down your hair, you will love this. I will recommend this.
