Hi everyone,
I didn’t even know a-b-c of makeup when I first visited IMBB. After going through IMBB posts, I am inspired by Rati and of course whole IMBB gang. I am a working professional and I have combination skin which sweats a lot. I also have blackheads and whiteheads. Also my lips are very dry in spite of taking measures like drinking lots of water etc. So, could you please give your valuable suggestions for my issues ; also I am listing down the products I have been using currently:
1. L’Oreal Hydra Fresh Face Wash.
2. Lakme CC cream
3. Ponds BB+ Cream
4. Lakme scrub
5. Dove Beauty Moisuture Face Wash.
6. Maybelline Baby lips lip balm (and Himalaya, Lotus, VLCC, Nivea, etc.).
I am not extremely satisfied with the products I am using; except the L’Oreal Hydrafresh face wash, which controls sweating for one hour and Dove face wash.I have tried all options like Neutrogena blackhead remover, Himalaya’s, Clean and Clear (this was big flop), Olay white radiance etc.
So, could you guys please suggest some other good products with in budget which would help in making my skin better

I have combination skin and I will tell you what works best for me. For a daily routine, I gave replaced my toner with Colorbar Mist spray, and it is superb. This is the CTM routine :
Cleansing : Clean & Clear foaming face wash / Himalaya daily cleansing apricot face wash
Toning : Colorbar Finishing Mist Spray (keep it in the fridge and spray it on your face)
Serum : L’oreal Hydrafresh Boosting Essence
Moisturizing : I have replaced this step with daily usage of Lotus SPF 70 SUNBLOCK and trust me it has does wonders.
Alternative : clean & clear moisturizer and neutrogena oil free one with spf are also marvellous, but you shall have to use sun block separately.
Lip balm : Again, himalaya lip balm, the rs 25 one is the one I swear by. It heals your lips and makes them fuller and pinker. You can use elle 18 lippies when you go out if you don’t want anything dry and long lasting.
BB creams that suit my skin : Colorbar is the best. Although ponds bb cream with a dust of compact on nose and cheeks also stays through the day. You can the colorbar foundation cum concealer stick too.
Compact : I can swear by Lakme Absolute wet and dry compact. It is the best for oily skin.

Lips: ghee worked the best. It made my lips soft, pink
Whiteheads and blackheads:
lotus apricot scrub along with dry sandalwood powder. Also sometimes when they are too bad i remove them during a hot steam bath.
Using fab india toner regularly helped too
