Bumble and Bumble Grooming Creme Review

Hair length: medium length
Hair color: Black
Hair type: Silky, prone to tangles and frizz

Hello friends,

Hope you all are enjoying winters! This review has been pending for long. I have been using it for months but surprisingly forgot to introduce it to you all. My hair is no less than a mystery. You never know when it would become curly or straight. I can experiment with my skin but cannot afford to experiment with my hair. I do love to try out easy, 5-minute hairstyles but it isn’t easy to work with my dry hair without hairsprays, gels, creams etc. Bumble and Bumble is one awesome hair care brand which has never disappointed me. So, let’s start the review now.

My Experience with Bumble and Bumble Grooming Creme:

This grooming cream comes in an opaque and sturdy plastic tube packaging with a flip top cap. It has a nice, sweet fragrance; this fragrance lingers on for a few hours in my hair and I love it. I totally like the user-friendly and travel-friendly packaging. The cream appears thick white in consistency. I feel it’s more like a leave-in conditioner for my hair. I mean, it gives such a nice, soft, bouncy and non-sticky flare to my hair without making it dry or stiff. Moreover, my hair feels quite healthy and shiny after using this cream. I use it as a hair primer cum styling cream for my hair as it preps up my silky-dry hair for any quick or even basic styles.

I find it perfect for sporting every hair look, right from super bouncy to flat to updos. I don’t use it for my shows as we need quick working sprays to hold the shape, though. However, I have used it to sport a braided updo and my hair stayed in shape for an exceptionally long period of time. Not to forget, I have not experienced any hair fall with this cream. In fact, my hair remains comparatively less tangled even on the second day; earlier I had to give my hair a complete wash to get rid of gels and tangles. I feel that it makes my hair manageable and soft for various hairstyles.

I used to create French buns, braids and pouf hairstyles without any hairstyling creams earlier and it used to be one heck of a task. I had to tease my hair, fluff it and still there would be flyaways. But now I just prep my hair by spraying water and then slathering on a coin size amount of this cream on my hair. Then, I just comb through and done! My hair does feel a bit limp right after application but then it becomes bouncy, silky and soft. During my latest trip, I did experience bad skin days but not bad hair days. I just had to comb my hair once and then it would remain bouncy, wavy and silky throughout the day. This cream is a game-changer for dry and frizzy hair.

To sum it up, this hair grooming cream is certainly not intended for keeping intricate styles in place. I personally love slathering it on my hair for neat and easy styling. If you are also concerned about the need of using sprays, gels to hold your style, then try this grooming cream but don’t expect it to hold your curls or updos in place. I would definitely like to get it again.

Let’s sum up pros and cons:

Pros of Bumble and Bumble Grooming Creme:

• A lightweight styling moisturizer for every hair type
• Perfect for dry, frizzy hair
• Easy to use
• No tacky or greasy feel on hair
• Dries onto a satin silky finish
• Makes hair manageable, soft and tamed
• Can be used for hairstyling

Cons of Bumble and Bumble Grooming Creme:

• Price
• Cannot replace heat protectant sprays
• Cannot uplift flat hair
• We still need sprays and gels to hold hairstyles in place
