My Take on Burt’s Bees Hibiscus Tinted Lip Balm:

Starting with the packaging, Burt Bee’s Tinted Lip Balm in Hibiscus comes in a regular packaging, like any other lip balm. The packaging is simple but not boring, sturdy and travel friendly. The cap is color coordinated with the shade of the lip balm. Burt Bee’s Tinted Lip Balm is available in 6 sheer shades. I am not very comfortable wearing bold reds at work place; so I rather picked up a tinted red lip balm for my work place to keep my lips moist with a hint of color to stay within my comfort zone.

Burt's Bees Hibiscus Tinted Lip Balm bullet

The shade “Hibiscus” is a sheer red-colored lip balm. It looks dark in the bullet but goes sheer when swatched and turns out to be just a hint of red on the lips. It has a moist and glossy finish. This lip balm is packed with loads of moisture for lip, obtained from different oils, shea and bees wax. It is a paraben-free product. It feels very soothing on dry lips and makes them feel soft and comfortable with 5 hours on average.

It is slightly scented and flavoured but so mild that you can hardly notice the effect. It also heals dry lips with regular use. It is also suitable to apply overnight to wake up with baby soft lips. Though Burt Bees claims 8 hours of wear time, the tint fades away in 3-4 hours easily and doesn’t survive any food intake, but the moisture stays on lips for 5 hours approximately. The reapplication is very easy as the sheer color doesn’t essentially require any mirror; so you can just pull out and treat the dry lips anywhere.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Burt’s Bees Hibiscus Tinted Lip Balm?
Yes, I do recommend Burt Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Hibiscus because the sheer red tint is beautiful, I won’t repurchase this particular shade or any other because I purchased from a retailer for $8, which is nearly double the price I pay for Maybelline Baby Lips.
