Burt’s Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm Review

Skin Type: Dry and Sensitive

Hello Everyone,

I have got terrible flu, thanks to the extreme weather out there! Today, I am going to review another lip balm which I really love the most. This has been helping me with my chapped lips thanks to the weather, and I can’t really go on with my day without a lip balm on my lips and a skin moisturizer on my face and body. Somehow Burt’s Bees has got me addicted to their natural, sweetly favored lip balm. I like how there are so many variants available of this lip balm. I could never get bored using just one flavor. Read on to know more about “Pomegranate” lip balm.

My Experience with Burt’s Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm:

Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm ingredients list

Fragrance:  Since it is a pomegranate-flavored lip balm, it smells heavily like a fruit. Guessing this fruit smell is pomegranate since I am not really sure how a pomegranate really smells (yes, I am serious). We all are aware how any juicy fruit would smell. It smells somewhat similar. However, the fragrance is not at all overpowering at all. It fades away after 20-30 minutes of the application.

Texture, Quality and Benefits:  The texture of this lip balm is extremely smooth and soft. Since it claims to be 100% natural, it provides a very smooth application in just one stroke which makes my lips feel moisturized instantly. It does not feel very heavy on the lips in the first application. I have extremely dry and parched lips which needs at least 2-3 swipes in order to bring them to life. It leaves a nice healthy transparent sheen to the lips. If you suffer the same issue like me, then this lip balm is definitely your answer. Quality-wise, I feel this lip balm does justice to its claims and being 100% natural, what more could we need to convince us to buy this little thing. The soft buttery texture makes it glide on smoothly without any tugging or pulling on the lips.

Burt's Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm tip

I have never used anything so soft on my lips apart from the Maybelline Baby Lips. The only thing which can be a con is the absence of SPF in it. I guess other variants might have it but the sole purpose of this lip balm is to provide moisture. This lip balm has benefits of pomegranate oil which means that chapped lips can be kept at bay. I have read great things about pomegranate oil. The staying power of this lip balm is average and does not need frequent application unless you have a habit of licking your lips in between. Lastly, I forgot to mention about the fruity sweet taste this has which gets me licking my lips all the time.

Overall, if you are looking for a lip balm that helps heal extremely dry lips, then this is definitely a must have. Although you won’t get any SPF or tint with this lip balm, it is a must have for beauties who are on the lookout for a remedy for chapped lips.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Burt’s Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm?
Definitely yes for both. It is a great investment if you are a lip balm person like me. For now, I purchased too many other variants which may take time to finish hence I won’t be repurchasing this any time soon.
