I am here with a review on Buxom Mistress Full-Bodied Lipstick.

 

What it is:
A daringly vivid, full-coverage lip color with a gentle plumping effect and seductive satin finish.

What it does:
This smooth, creamy, ultra-hydrating lipstick offers a major plumping effect without the tingle. Encapsulated hyaluronic spheres help to promote hydration and fullness, while shea butter, coconut oil, chamomile flower wax, and vitamins C and E help moisturize, soothe, and protect lips.

Shades:
Comes in 12 different shades. This review is for the shade called Mistress which is a beautiful pink color that I am absolutely in love with.

My Experience with Buxom Mistress Full-Bodied Lipstick :

First Impression:
This lipstick is extremely hydrating and the color is very saturated. You get the exact same color on the lips as the tube. It is very smooth, creamy and moisturizing and it did not dry my lips at all. This shade is a very pretty baby pink color and I think it will look great on any skin tone. The color pigmentation is amazing, the texture is very smooth and the lipstick glides on very easily. This lipstick however does not also offer a plumping effect as it claims to.

Because the lipstick is so smooth and creamy, it might break easily and hence I would suggest twist the lipstick tube just a little bit while applying on the lips.

Staying Power:

This lipstick did not dry my lips and did not crack them as well. However, this lipstick does not stay for a long time especially after a meal or a drink. It does transfer too. So touch up is required every couple of hours or so. If that does not bother you, this lipstick is great to have as it does provide a lot of hydration to the lips. And as it is so hydrating, it will definitely melt easily so avoid exposing it to the sun. Overall, I really love this lipstick and I am up for trying it in different shades as well.

Pros of Buxom Mistress Full-Bodied Lipstick :

• Great pigmentation.
• Does not dry or crack the lips.
• Very pretty shade. I might buy more of the same shade.
• Not at all sticky.

Cons of Buxom Mistress Full-Bodied Lipstick :

• Low staying power and transfers easily.
• Melts easily.
• Does not provide the plumping effect as promised.

Would I repurchase/recommend Buxom Full Bodied Lipstick?

Definitely yes. I love the way this lipstick feels and hydrates the lips. It is extremely moisturizing and I love the color. Although the staying power is not that great, I do not mind retouching. I will buy more of this shade because I think it looks amazing on my skin tone.
