Today, I am reviewing an enchanting piece of art; Goldea Eau De Parfum for Women by Bvlgari. Goldea is a new oriental floral perfume; a recent launch by Bvlgari. The fragrance is inspired by the shine of gold and light. The name Goldea means “Gold Goddess” (gold + dea). Goldea is a tribute to the sun and golden goddess of beauty. Product Description:
Unique expression of Bvlgari perfumes, goldea is a sensual and oriental fragrance that pays tribute to the olfactory richness and the infinite nuances of a palette of stylised white musks. A profusion of luscious sweet sparkles mingled with the intoxicating scent of ylang-ylang and orange blossom and a caressing addictive base note radiating splendour.

Olfactory family: floriental musk;
Top notes: orange blossom absolute, bergamot absolute, sun-filled raspberry;
Heart notes: precious ylang-ylang from Comoros islands, golden jasmine petals, luscious sweet sparkles;
Base notes: golden patchouli, papyrus from Egypt.

Packaging: Bvlgari demonstrates class and elegance with the choice of a flat oval shaped bottle draped in a gold-coloured ring. The bottle cap is oval and flat shaped resembling a piece of jewel set in a gold-coloured ring. A serrated gold-coloured ring is wrapped around the bottle neck, just below the cap, creating a golden aura. This unique piece of art is packed in a light gold-coloured cardboard box, completing the authentic golden look.

My Experience with Bvlgari Goldea Eau de Parfum for Women:

Gold is the divine interpretation of the splendour of the sun on earth. Pre-launch advertisements of this perfume had already made me fall for its beauty; important was to test the fragrance. A friend of mine bought this for herself and then she encouraged me to go ahead.

Goldea eau de parfum is an oriental floral fragrance, has the advantage of being tender and at the same time long lasting. Goldea holds the light fruity notes of raspberry and orange; completed with the fresh scent of bergamot and spicy musk. Deeper in the core, the perfume is more fragrant and sensual. Jasmine and ylang-ylang notes are floral. The base emits a spicy oriental scent, of strong woody tones; a mixture of ambergris, patchouli and papyrus.

Goldea eau de parfum is a perfect for official and special occasions. Has an enchanting fragrance; makes me feel bold and feminine at the same time. I would describe it as a sensual, musky, mildly spiced floral aroma. Jasmine enlightens the senses and ylang-ylang gives a soothing feeling. The presence of musk makes this fragrance enduring and long lasting, by preventing evaporation.

Personally I do not like musk based perfumes with spicy and woody notes. However, this is an exception. As usual I wear it on my pulse points and enjoy the long lasting aroma. Golden is for a modern, unique, sensual woman, who has love for life and eagerness to learn a lot. It’s a true manifesto to timeless femininity.

The bottle and cap is a piece of art; draped in gold-coloured ring alongwith a serrated gold coloured ring round the bottle neck, emitting a feeling of golden aura, justifying the perfume name goldea.

• In my opinion none, except the price.
