Today’s review will be on the last on my By Terry products. It’s the By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Compact in the shade 2 Fleshtone Nude.

My Experience with By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Compact in Fleshtone Nude:

Packaging:
Ultra Luxurious but not very practical or travel-friendly. The compact case is exactly same as the By Terry blush I reviewed earlier. The compact is mirror-finished which attracts fingerprints and scratches and is also very heavy. The case does not have its own compartment for the provided makeup puff which sits on the powder itself separated by a thin plastic film. The powder is embossed with By Terry brand name in a beautiful quilted design.

Texture:
This powder is very smooth and soft. It does not kick up any powder when your dip your brush in. I do prefer using my own fluffy powder brush for application and only use the puff for touchup in emergency. The puff itself is smooth and soft but since it does not have its own compartment it is hard to juggle it when using your own brush hence I prefer to permanently remove it from the compact.

Feel on skin:
This powder does set the makeup beautifully and give a nice natural looking finish. It does take away excess moisture and shine but it does not completely give a matte looking skin. The skin looks quite healthy and radiant which I love. Though it has the perfect amount of oil control/ mattifying ability for my normal to dry skin, I feel like oily skin people will not find this to be enough. This product is best used to set foundation or BB cream rather than to do any sort of oil control.

This powder has never clung to my dry patches on the skin even when used on bare skin with just a light layer of moisturizer. It never accentuated pores or fine lines nor did it ever caked up in areas which make your skin look older.

Coverage:
This powder does not offer a whole lot of coverage. It goes on very sheer.
Shade:
This compact is only available 8 shades which is decent shade range though not the best. I do find the shade 2 Fleshtone nude to be an excellent match for my Light- Medium (NW23) skintone.

Now lets talk about the biggest con of this product which is the hefty price. It is priced at a whopping $95 and even though this product is good I do not think this still justifies the price. I do not like the fact that I am very restricted to using this product only before leaving my home and since this is not very travel-friendly I am unable to take this around with me for touch-up during the day which is the main role of a powder compact in my makeup kit. Another thing worth mentioning is that the first ingredient in this product is Talc. Talc is a relatively cheap ingredient and also is not the best ingredient due to many researches claiming it is linked to health issues.

So considering all the pros and cons, I will not recommend this compact.

• Gives a beautiful natural finish to the skin
• Does not make skin look too flat and matte
• Does not cling to my dry areas or accentuate pores or fine lines
• Nice light floral scent

Cons of By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Compact in Fleshtone Nude:

• Very expensive
• Not travel-friendly
• Applicator does not have its own compartment
• Sheer coverage
