My Experience with Catrice 310 Read My Lips Ultimate Colour Lipstick:

The packaging is something to fall for. It comes in a glossy black packaging. It hasn’t got a plastic feel on the outside, it looks more like some high-end lipstick when you hold it in your hands. It also clicks while closing the lid. The lipstick is secure and there is no chance of it getting opened by mistake.The lipstick has creamy texture and glides smoothly on the lips. The sharp corners of the lipstick can be used to reach the border and tips of lips in case one doesn’t want to use a lipstick brush. I normally use a lipstick brush to reach the edges and define my lip lines.

One can never have enough number of lipsticks and especially reds. Each and every red from different brands looks different on lips. Red is a color which you can apply for any occasion, any time of the day and without any other makeup product too. It has the power to instantly brighten up the face. In my opinion, red lipstick is like Little Black Dress for face; everyone should own at least one. I love the names of these Catrice lipsticks, especially this one ‘Read My Lips’. I would love to wear this shade to a romantic dinner date. The color is perfect for bold lips.

The only problem with the product is that it bleeds a little. The lipstick bleeds out of the lips and hence a lip liner is a must.I normally blot the lips with a tissue to increase the staying power and also to achieve the matte look. The product stays put for 5 to 6 hours. It doesn’t transfer to my beverage glasses nor budge during meals. Which is great, in my opinion! It’s easy to build up the color by reapplying the product. It’s important to moisturize the lips well before you apply the lipstick. Also make sure to wipe out the lip care product before applying this lipstick to achieve matte finish.
