Today’s review is about Catrice Eyebrow Filler – Perfecting and Shaping Gel; this happens to be my first eyebrow filler gel. I have always used only eyebrow powder to fill in the scarce parts of my brows, and give them a more defined look. I was very excited when I saw the product; my expectation was to replace the eyebrow powder completely by using this gel, and thereby saving time. Read on to find out how it performed.

My Experience with Catrice Eyebrow Filler – Perfecting and Shaping Gel 010:
The packaging looks more like a lip gloss packaging, except for the color. It has brown gel filled instead of colorful glosses. It comes in 2 shades; I picked up shade 010. The wand is like a mascara wand, with very tiny bristles. The bristles are soft and the wand is handy and stiff. The product is dark brown in color and the wand picks up little bit of product when pulled out of the tube. The texture of the product is kind of sandy and powdery while I had expected it to be cream based. Since its powdery, it doesn’t get transferred to the brows well. It feels more like using a dried out mascara on the eyebrows. The parts where the product is used on my brows does not make a big difference.
I have certain bald patches in my brows that need to be filled. With this product, it’s not possible to attack those corners. I applied at least 4 coats of the product to see the results, but in vain. The product did not add any value to my eyebrows. I felt it can be used more like an eyebrow setting gel after filling the brows with an eyebrow powder. The product is not perfumed and did not cause any kind of irritation or redness. This is not a waterproof product. The product stays put on the eyebrows and doesn’t transfer so easily even when touched.
It doesn’t result in any kind of fallout too. These seem to be the only impressive points. I would recommend this product to people who have no bald patches, but need little bit of grooming. It can be used for a “no makeup – makeup look”. Overall it’s a total waste of money. This is the first Catrice product which has performed so bad, in my opinion. I do not know how else to best use this product. If you have any tips, please comment.
