Catrice recently launched some beautiful fall eyeshadows. I wanted to pick them up and when I went to the store, most of the colors I wanted were sold out, the remaining were not a perfect match for my skin tone. I always loved brown eyeshadows and when I spotted one, I picked it up and today’s review is about Catrice Lumière long-lasting eyeshadow in Crème Brune, read on to know more:

My Experience with Catrice Lumière long-lasting eyeshadow in 010 Crème Brune:
Usually, when autumn officially starts, most of the stores stock up new Autumn Collection and I just go to the stores to see what is new, even though I hardly buy them. During my visit, I picked this up, along with a black eyeshadow. The colors were amazing and I had a few colors in my mind. Even though I didn’t get them, I do not miss, not buying them! The packaging is what attracted me. It is very classy and elegant. The eyeshadows come in a black case. The case flips out open and closes like it has a magnet inside. I really like the packaging. There is a square transparent glass, to see the shade of the color. Overall, the packaging is very elegant and makes the product look like a luxury brand.
When you open the lid, you can see the eyeshadow sitting in a round pan, seeing the glass and packaging, I thought that the eyeshadow will be square but it is a traditional round. The range Lumière is written on the top of the eyeshadow. There are around 9 shades available for now in this range and for now, I picked only one. Crème Brune is a classic copper brown shade. The color is deeply pigmented. The eyeshadows are powdery and very soft and creamy. However, they do not crumble and fall out. The eyeshadow is very delicate, when I swirl my brush to pick up the product, it makes the eyeshadow go loose and there is a lot of wastage. The same can be seen even on the top of the brush. Every single time, there is more product than needed. I have started to use my fingers to apply the eyeshadow. One of the main reasons why I picked this shade was because I wanted a transition shade and wanted to experiment with this and this was perfect for daily office wear!
The color is not very bold and for my skin tone, it is a little darker than my shade and thus, there is no much gaudy not-so-office-look eyes! The finish is not matte and has a metallic and glossy finish. The shade is great for creating soft Smokey eyes. The eyeshadow lasting power is also good. With a good primer, the eyeshadow lasts for around 8 hours and without primer it goes around for 6 hours.
Then the shade starts to fade from the corners. The product has very less fall out when applying. The eyeshadow is easy to apply and remove. The shade looks lovelier on fair skin tone, with wheatish skin tone, it is still okay but the color might not be suitable for darker tones. Overall, it is a good product and I love the color.

I might not repurchase it again as I am sure, this product last long but I would definitely recommend the product.
