My Take on Chambor Brightening Smoothening Foundation Wet and Dry:

I generally use it with a wet sponge and in a second, I’m all set to go! This can be used with a dry sponge as a compact.

About the packaging, it has a very classy and chic look; and inside is a big wide mirror that’s an amazing one.  I can do my whole make-up with that!! The packaging is sturdy. The sponge that comes with it is also very nice and I mostly use the sponge that is provided, I don’t need a separate sponge.

Chambor Dual Cashew

The powder foundation and the sponge are in separate compartments, something that I personally love.  I generally dislike keeping my sponge over the powder.

The coverage that it offers is medium; it’s quite buildable and doesn’t look chalky or cakey. It glides on the skin and looks so natural that one can hardly make out that you’re wearing a foundation! Isn’t that a super-cool thing?? It lasts really long, 6-7 hours at least! I didn’t find any fragrance to it! :jiggy1:

Using as a dry compact needs moisturized skin, that’s obvious!

All in all, an amazing product from Chambor.  I would say it’s a wonderful foundation.

  • Dual use – yes, that’s actually the USP.

  • It lasts really long.

Cons of Chambor Brightening Smoothening Foundation Wet and Dry:

  • It’s price.

  1. i have heard a lot about chambor products and they always have fab quality! the shades are quite limited though and i m not sure if i will find my perfect match 🙁
:thanks: for the review..will def try some day 😉

  2. Wow.. Never knew about this product.. Seems nice.. Will surely try it out next time I spot a chambor counter.. Great review! Thanks for introducing this product!
Chambor products seem to be getting a lotta love nowadays.. I’m also eyeing the glitzy gloss.

  3. how`s the coverage and oil-control ? okay make me choose : chambor wet n dry or revlon colorstay foundation ? :jaiho: m going foundation shopping 2mrw 😀

  4. I absolutely adore this foundation! It’s the first foundation I ever used, and I’ve never bought another one. This is SO easy to use, and fortunately for me the shade is EXACT match with my skin! I also love how I can use it for sheer to medium coverage, depending on how much product I use – so on days when i feel like my skin’s looking great, I use very minimal amount. And on days I feel like I want to hide my face, I sweep more product onto the sponge and it gives medium coverage. Love it!

And yes, DEFINITELY need to moisturise well before using this. And it’s not necessary to use the powder part after using the wet foundation – it leaves a dewy look that might look chalky on some if powder is also added.
