Hey ladies,

I am very happy writing this review – it’s my first Chambor product *happy dance*. Yes, it’s my first ever purchase from “Chambor!” I have never tried anything from this brand.  I hate rushing to the City Center Mall to buy Chambor products, so I bought this one online and I am really enjoying my choice as I love pigmented, opaque glosses.  Well, it doesn’t mean I don’t like sheer glosses, but I always prefer my gloss to be tinted, not clear and colorless.

Price:

INR 655 for 6.5 ml.

Packaging:

The gloss comes in rectangular shape gloss bottle, safely packed in an outer black color pack; it has a screw cap, in which the doe-foot applicator is attached. The applicator is very nice; it picks up the apt quantity for complete application in one swipe. For the price, the look of the packaging is very decent, classy and really handy too.

My Take on Chambor Glitzy Gloss Intense 642:

Shade: The shade #642 is a nice milky, warm-toned deep pink kind of shade; it has a bit of mauve- ish touch to it. It’s not a peachy, brown or blue based pink; it’s simply a milky deep pink. As it not a blue-based milky pink, it will definitely suit every skin tone, and will appear very pleasing on cool or medium skin tones.  It really appears very nice on my fair to medium skin tone, giving me that perfect pink, s*xy lips. It suits me well, doesn’t wash me out, enhances my complexion.  It’s really an everyday wearable shade, best suited for office and college going crowd.

Texture and Finish:  The lip gloss has got the perfect consistency, very creamy and smooth texture. The gloss is neither very thin or runny, nor thick and sticky like some glosses. It feels like a liquid lip cream and glides very easily on the lips. The gloss is really very hydrating, so it’s an apt lip gloss for dry lips. The finish of the gloss is creamy matte kind and little glossy; it has no shimmers or any kind of extra sheen to it and is not too much glossy.

Pigmentation:  The gloss is very much pigmented; it’s actually not a gloss, it’s more of a liquid lip color. One swipe would give opaque color on lips, you’ll not need to dip the applicator into the bottle two times to get the fullest color on lips, it’s a good pick for pigmented lips, they can wear it as a gloss or over a matte lip color also.

Staying Power:  The gloss stays better than some of the glosses and also because of the creamy smooth texture, I can’t complain. So, without having a heavy meal, it manages to stay on me for 3 hours. The gloss fades after one hour of application, just a mild fading of the freshly applied intense color can be noticed, 40% of the color is gone after an hour, you can drink water or have light snacks with it, and it’ll not fade away with that much. Then if you’re not eating anything heavy, it’ll surely last for 2.5 – 3 hours, the gloss transfers. Generally, it doesn’t bleed on me, but I can say there are chances of bleeding.

Pros of Chambor Glitzy Gloss Intense 642:

• The shade is really beautiful, a nice toned down milky deep pink shade, neither too dark and bright, nor too light too wash out some skin tones.
• Apt to wear every day, really suitable for office and college goers.
• Suitable for every skin tone.
• The texture is really creamy and buttery smooth, glides like a butter on lips.
• Applicator is good and packaging is classy and sturdy too.
• The gloss is completely shimmer free, does not have any kind of unnecessary sheen to it, makes the gloss creamy matte and little glossy in finish.
• The gloss is really much pigmented, really an apt gloss for pigmented lips.
• Staying power without meals is good, it will stay for 2.5 – 3 hours.
• The gloss is very hydrating, again really apt for dry lips.

Cons of Chambor Glitzy Gloss Intense 642:

• Nothing but the price of the gloss, but there has not been any compromise with the quality also.
• I won’t complain about the transferring and bleeding, because of the creamy texture.

Would I Recommend Chambor Glitzy Gloss Intense 642?

Yes, the shades and the texture of the glosses are something every girl would be wanting and can die for. No issues with pigmentation and so so I will recommend this to everyone. There are lots of shades to play but I would suggest don’t miss this one.
