My experience with Chambor Luminous Loose Powder:

I wasn’t aware of something called loose powder until one fine day I came across a compiled post on these on IMBB. From that day I was keen to buy one and did my research work and ended up buying one from Chambor. I am a big Chambor fan so didn’t think much before buying it.

I have combination skin but whenever I step out of my house it tends to become oily due to the high humidity level in my city and therefore I was looking for a nice mattifying powder. Chambor luminous loose powder comes in a transparent plastic pot. The powder comes in 3 shades; my shade is 202 Ocher which is for medium skin tone. The packaging is very classy and attractive. There is also a small brush applicator which has very soft bristles. The powder is very fine and smooth in texture and also contains shimmer. I usually apply it after foundation. The powder blends easily and gives a very smooth and matte finish. The best part is that it holds the makeup for a very long time without any reapplication. So thumbs up for this as I always had to carry a compact and keep dabbing my face to control oiliness. I also use it after applying BB cream and it gives a very fresh and luminous glow.

The only thing that bothers me about the product is that there is no puff or seal present to cover the pores due to which the powder comes out easily and causes wastage, so not at all travel friendly.

Pros of Chambor Luminous Loose Powder:

• Very fine and smooth powder
• Gives a matte finish
• Works great in setting up makeup
• Comes with a small brush
• Does not gives the cakey look
• Small glitters present in the powder adds shimmer to your makeup
• Good quantity

Cons of Chambor Luminous Loose Powder:

• Not at all travel friendly
• Some may not like the addition of shimmer

Will I repurchase Chambor Luminous Loose Powder:

Yes I will definitely repurchase it as it is very ideal for my skin type and saves me from the hassle of blotting my face with compact after every hour or so.

My Ratings: 4.5/5

  1. I checked this one out too but the hefty price tag sent me flying far far away!

But I think there is a matte powder in this range that the SAs showed me, you should check it out.
