I had never really been into soft pinks because I got glued to bold and vibrant pinks. “Pink Cherie” is a beautiful soft pink shade that will steal a lot of hearts. My Experience with Chambor Orosa Pink Cherie #552 Lip Perfection Lipstick:

Chambor Orosa is currently being raved everywhere and it should be because these lipsticks look more than gorgeous. The lipstick comes in a shaded metallic maroon coloured packaging which looks absolutely classy. The box is actually of pretty good quality and that is a plus because most of the brands use bad quality boxes. The packaging of the lipstick looks very stunning in rose gold and most of the women have totally given their hearts to this super cute colour. The lid gets closed very nicely and won’t get opened on its own which makes it very travel-friendly. The packaging has a label with shade details. Initially I thought there would be just shade numbers (and I just hate it), but surprisingly it had names too. That made me very happy.

It also contains SPF 8 which is good enough for the lips I guess, so a good benefit from the lipstick. The price is a definitely a little high as compared to the performance that it delivers. The bullet is extremely creamy and it glides on like warm butter on a hot toast. I have some complaints with the packaging – the lipstick colour clings to the inner bullet whenever I raise it and pull it down, and the most shocking thing is that the bullet gets separated from its base. As you can see in the pictures, the bullet completely broke, how could they even make such a formula? Hence, I just have to open up a little bullet and apply the lipstick. I actually did not apply a lot of pressure, yet the consistency is so soft that the bullet was about to fall off!

Just 1 swipe and the colour totally appears on my lips. 2 swipes will make the subtle pink colour look even more intense. The bullet has a nice tangerine bubble gum scent which is definitely very pleasing. This looks like the perfect every-day pink because it is bright, but not bold. “Pink Cherie” is a beautiful looking subtle pink which creates a pop on the lips which does not look very wild like fuchsias. In fact this totally boosts up the romantic quotient and this actually creates a very feminine look. It is a dusty rose pink with some hints of hot pink which creates this unique offering. It appears a little milky on the lips along with a boost of creaminess.

The pink has a milky tinge to it which might wash out dusky skin-tones but it is a nice on-the-go pink for fair to wheatish complexions. It is suitable for all age groups and will complement the look whether you are 20 or 60. The staying power is somewhere around 4 hours which is lesser than other variants. Initially the colour is bright and chapped lips are totally treated, it does not settle in fine lines nor does it bleed. But even if I start munching in the initial hour, the colour partly comes off from the middle portion of the lips and creates an illusion of a lip liner because the colour stays on the outline of the lips.

The moment the colour comes off from the centre portion of the lips, I can see that the intense colour has somewhat settled into the fine lines and clinged to dry patches. With a lot of talking, the colour stays intense for the initial 2 hours and then it starts to lose its intensity. But I was a little disappointed because a lipstick that costs half of this one would perform the same. I would prefer getting bolder shades because they last more that such subtle shades.

Pros of Chambor Orosa Pink Cherie #552 Lip Perfection Lipstick:

• The packaging is super gorgeous
• The bullet is extremely creamy and glides on like a dream
• The shade “Pink Cherie” is a very pretty soft pink shade which looks very beautiful and romantic on the lips
• It contains SPF 8 which is a plus point
• Pink Cherie will look great on all age groups and will complement all outfits too
• It will cover pigmented lips very nicely
• It does not bleed at any point
• It turns into a semi matte formula after having snacks

Cons of Chambor Orosa Pink Cherie #552 Lip Perfection Lipstick:

• It only stays for 4 hours and I think lipsticks worth half the rate would last for as much time
• The bullet gets separated from the base even if a little pressure is applied
• The colour clings to the inner bullet as and when I open and close it
• The staying power is less for the price paid
• The colour goes away from the centre of the lips the moment I have something
• The colour settles into fine lines and clings to dry patches
• Will not complement all skin tones

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Chambor Orosa Pink Cherie #552 Lip Perfection Lipstick?
Yes I do recommend it to women who love soft yet bright romantic pinks. I probably wouldn’t get soft pinks because my love for bold and bright pinks remains as it is. This is a beautiful shade to try out; I do recommend this range if you can splurge on it.

I am impressed with the range, but there are some factors like the high price, the packaging flaws that cannot be avoided.
