Chambor Powder Matte Lipstick: Rose Fresque Review
By now, I think our love for this range is at its peak. Most of us have tasted its sweetness by purchasing one or more of their shades and of course sinners like me have indulged in more than one 😛 You can read my reviews on other shades from this range, like Coral Reef, Rose Fantasie, Brique Rose, Pink Devil, and many more. Now, I have a few more in mind to hoard and one of the very best is this shade that I am reviewing today, Rose Fresque.
This shade you can say is a cross between Pink Devil and Rose Fantasie :P, more so like a mauvy pink. Rose Fresque is the softer version of Rose Fantasie and a darker version of Pink Devil. The shade has a strong rose shade like the name says. It can look like it has some coral undertones to it sometimes.
The packing I like since its made matte like the name says. I am seriously impressed with the thick deep texture these have, the pigmentation on this one is through the roof.
The texture is very thick and soft and intense as in a lot of color comes off in one swipe on the lips. The feel is heavy for that reason and the finish is matte and hence I love it. You might feel it settles on the lips and may feel a little dryness if your lips are prone to being chapped, so beware.
The color is a gorgeous pink with mauve undertones and I would wear it anywhere formal due to the matte finish. I love this shade next to Coral Reef.
The finish can be so matte that many of us may not like it. I have recommended this lipstick to a friend who is a gloss girl, but she is so impressed with the staying power. She works as a teacher and the lipstick was intact from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. What more could I say? If a gloss lover could love the matte lipstick so much, then indeed we all must have one each.
The only problem with these Powder Matte lipsticks is that since they are so heavy on the lips, one may feel lips are not moisturised enough if you are not easy on the application, hence one swipe is more than enough. I don’t recommend this range to girls with dry lips at all.
Last Word:
Long lasting, matte, intense, pigmented, gorgeous mauvy pink shade, but sometimes looks like it has some coral undertones too. Its a must-have for 450 rupees!

Chambor powder matte has come up with 5 new shades which are:
- Peach Buff (soon to be reviewed).
- Dark Orchid (deep purple).
- Melon Sorbet (deep maroon).
- Sweet Chocolate (choco brown).
- Plum Delight (dark mauve I think, I am not sure about this one).
The only worthwhile one was Peach Buff, the remaining were way too dark!

hey a quick trick with this one is to not drag it across lips, but to dab it . so your lipstick doesnt feel drier.
