My love for Chambor Powder Mattes is not unknown and here I am with another of these lippies, this time it is a brown and matte lip color lover’s dream! I must say, they have hit upon all the shade families we might love, not just for this rang but in all Chambor range of lipsticks, cater to all pink, nude, brown color families.
Why I bought this lipstick is because I very much wanted to exhaust my collection of these, I think I have covered all ground by getting myself a brown as well from powder mattes, since these are the lipsticks I reach out to most, when I dont have the time to mix and match ( which I always dont, considering my toddler :/)
The packaging again is a matte, I am starting to find it quite drab honestly, but I am so in love with the thick texture these have, and they go absolutely matte, and you just need on coat to fill your lips with the color that is true to the real shade you pruchase!
The shade has some red underotnes to it, or may be brick when one swipe is applied, if you use two swipes, it starts to look very brown, so i prefer one swipe of this, I am wearing one swipe only and hence it looks quite toned down.
The shade looks quite a fall/winter shade honestly, if you keep your eyes nude and bright and wear this, if you keep your eyes dark as well, then this could be gothic as well.
The shade can look cakey in two swipes, also get an even color with a brush ,this will settle in fine lines and this will dry up you lips, I suggest you use a light lip gloss over it in case you do not prefer such a shade.You have to remeber that you cant cake it up to touch this up on some old color on your lips as it could look real bad, this lasts for quite a while though!
Last word:
This is sinmply perfect for brown matte lip color lovers, being on the dry side, you could use a gloss on top of this to your advantage. I personally love this range and I do tone down this shade by some mixing matching from the other shades .:)
