Chambor UV Protector SPF 29 PA++
By Arpita Sahu
So, this goes back to my days of hunting for a perfect regime to get that much coveted glow on my D-Day. I had wanted to decide on using one set of products 3 months before my wedding to avoid any chances of zit and scars on my wedding day. Now, that was a tough call since I love experimenting with multiple products at the same time ;). Anyway, as I was going around South City Mall in Kolkata the Chambor beauty expert lured me into trying their Whitening Active System range. Though I have used all of the products in this range, I will have to mention the UV Protector( SPF 29 PA++).
Details:
“The UV Protector with its Triple Action Formula provides one step procedure to whiten, moisturize & protect the skin. Vitamin C derivative diminishes the spots while White Lily & Aloe Vera moisturizes & smoothens the skin. It also contains 3 special powders that correct skin color, covers dullness giving the skin radiance for a healthy glow. ”
How to use:
Take a pea sized amount on your fingertips and apply it onto face smoothing it out until it blends in the skin completely. For best benefits as a sunscreen, one must apply it 30 minutes before going out in the sun. Claims to work better with continuous usage of the entire Whitening Active System.
Packaging:
It comes in a white tube which a wide nozzle and screw on cap. The tube is fairly small in size and hence, would not consume too much of space in your travel bags.
Price:
Rs. 680 for 30 ml
My experience with Chambor UV Protector SPF 29 PA++
It claims to “provide a one-step-regime to whiten, moisturize and protect skin from harmful UV rays and protects the skin against UVA/UVB rays that cause sun-burn, cell damage, dryness, roughness and pre-mature ageing. Skin looks visibly lighter and more radiant after just one application.” Personally, I have always been a fan of such products which have multiple uses like this one which could be used as a leave-on moisturiser or a primer/make up base or a sunscreen. I would just have to use this one product for hiding my blemishes and protect myself from the sun on an everyday basis.
I love this product since it gives me a subtle glow which I absolutely love. This pinkish cream is not too thick in consistency and is not too runny either. A little would go a long way and in case you squeeze out more than required, the wide nozzle makes it very easy to put some stuff back into the tube. I would recommend this to everyone who avoid using foundation frequently since I find this as a good substitute to a light foundation coverage. It does not create any excess oil and shine on the face and gives a perfect matte glow. I have a combination skin and it definitely works fine for me. I will recommend it to all the readers who are in search of a UV protectant or a multipurpose cream.

Cons of Chambor UV Protector SPF 29 PA++ :
