Today, I am reviewing Chanel 131 Mica Levres Scintillantes Glossimer. I got this one as my Valentine’s Day gift. I am already in love with this lip gloss. It is so lightweight, smooth and feels silky. This gloss comes under Glossimer collection. I like all the glosses in this collection. They are super shiny and unique glosses. I get very excited when it comes to lip products and I can’t wait to share with you lovely ladies, my experience with this Chanel gloss. So let us get started.

Packaging:

The packaging is a normal one with a transparent glass tube and a black gold holder. The applicator is also a regular doe tip applicator. An elegant, transparent pack shows the shade clearly. Quality wise I feel Chanel is the best.

Ingredients:

C10-30 Cholesterol/lanosterol esters, polubutane, diiso-stearyl malate, silica dimethyl silylate, calcium aluminum borosilicate, silica, propylparaben, peg-8, tocopherol, tin oxide, ascorbylpalmitate, alumina, citric acid, ascornic acid.

Suggested Usage:
May be used over favorite lipstick formula to enhance shimmer and high-shine glow. It can be used on its own for an ultra-glossy and comfortably hydrated result.

My take on Chanel 131 Mica Levres Scintillantes Glossimer:

131 Mica is a beautiful reflecting shimmer gloss, with white, pink, fuchsia and blue-based particles. It is slightly pigmented, which means that it offers a better than other glosses coverage.It is also long lasting, in fact Chanel is my most long lasting lip gloss I have in my collection. It is not very sticky and I feel it is very very comfortable on my lips.

The tiny sparkles in the gloss highlight the lips. It can be worn alone and also on top of any lipstick. I normally wear it on top of my lipstick and sometimesm I use this gloss only on my cupid’s bow to make my lips pop . One thing I like a lot about this gloss is that it does not make lips dry. It stays for almost 3 hours and keeps lips far from getting dry. Even after the gloss fades away, it leaves that tiny sparkling particles on our lips.

When applied on top of the lipstick, this gloss pops out the lipstick color and seals the lipstick from fading. Even after the gloss goes off, we still have the lipstick color on our lips. When we need to attend parties or celebration where  eating is involved, we can use a full coat of this gloss on our lipstick.

The next thing is the applicator. I am quite disappointed with the doe-foot wand. For the price, I expected a lot more; but it comes with a very regular applicator. This gloss is a bit transparent. It takes around 2 to 3 coats to give a perfect finish. It has a very mild fragrance which is good.

Overall, I liked Chanel Glossimer lip gloss in the shade 131 Mica. I am so into Chanel lip products now that I would like to try other shades from this collection.

• Lightweight and pigmented
• Not very sticky
• Ultra shiny and sparkling
• Very mild Fragrance
• Can be worn on top of lipstick
• Does not make lips dry
• Good staying power
• Does not leave lines on our lips.

Cons of Chanel 131 Mica Levres Scintillantes Glossimer:

• Little pricey.
  Cannot use the gloss alone on our lips because it is quite transparent.

I will surely re-purchase the same shade and I would also like to try other shades. I strongly recommend it to everyone.
