The moment I saw the Chanel Fall 2016 collection, I knew that I needed this blush in my life. “Rouge Profond” is a perfect neutral red color which brightens up the complexion and is a must for winters. It gives that perfect flush of rosy red winter cheeks that everybody loves.

My Experience with Chanel 320 Rouge Profond Joues Contraste Powder Blush:

It is a classic Chanel packaging, a black plastic case with the Chanel logo on the top and a mirror and a brush inside. It comes with a black velvet sleeve with the Chanel logo engraved on it. The plastic case doesn’t feel cheap, it’s quite sturdy and feels luxurious. It has a rosy scent which all Chanel products have.

The texture of the blush is soft and silky. It is pigmented, so you need a light hand to apply or use a stippling brush for a sheer finish.  Chanel blushes are very blendable, not at all streaky. It offers buildable coverage, from natural to dramatic and has a pretty satin finish on the cheeks. The powder is finely milled and has no shimmer.

Rouge Profond is a perfect shade of red with neutral undertones which will give you a natural rosy red flush on the cheeks. The shade may look frightening in the pan, but it’s easy to wear and looks very subtle when you apply it on the skin. I use Real Techniques Stippling Brush for sheer application. It lasted for 6 hours on my cheeks.

Verdict:
I love the formulation of this blush, it’s soft and silky to touch. It just melts into the skin and provides a healthy glow. Yes, it’s an expensive blush, but it has the best formulation out there.
