My Experience with Chanel 234 Poeise Les 4 Ombre Multi Effect Quadra Eyeshadow

I am a sucker for neutral eyeshadows and I absolutely love using quads. Mostly because they save your from the hassle of mixing and matching colors from various eyeshadows that you may have. Most quads are well co-ordinated and you can easily create looks with the colors.

Poeise is a quad of all 4 neutral metallic colors that is perfect for both part season and for everyday wear.

The 4 colors in the Poeise 234 quad are :

• A light gold bronzy color. The color almost goes on as a gold sheen on lids. You can ear it as an overall lid color with a black liner for everyday wear and it would give that lovely polished look to the lids without being OTT. The color is not at all shimmery or chunky. It’s kinda there but not there kind of a color.
• A frosty champagne gold color that works great as a highlighter for inner corners and brows. This also you can wear on lids.
• a beautiful pale lavender pink color that also can be used both as a overall lid or highlighter color.
• An absolutely stunning plummy brown color. It is a the star color of the quad. You can use it just to smudge your liner or go all out for creating smokey eyes. It is crazy pigmented but blends like a dream.This color did have a bit of fall out though.

This eyeshadow quad is what dreams are made of quite literally. 😀 The packaging is gorgeous black with double ‘C’ engraved on the top. Comes with two applicators – well I don’t bother about them.

The texture of all 4 eyeshadows is buttery soft. They blend like a dream. All 4 colors are so easy to wear on day to day basis. The staying power is actually until your remove the colors at the end of the day. except the darkest shade none of the 3 had any fall out. The colors don’t fade, nor do they crease. You can use these eyeshadows both wet and dry. They have totally redone the formula of their eyeshadow quads and I am soo happy with my purchase.

I would like to mention that this quad is a part of limited edition…that I got to know just now. :\ But this would be available at Chanel stores for next 3-4 months atleast. So you can actually gift this to yourself as a Christmas or New year gift. 😀

And this is the look I created using the quad : I have used the Champagne color on the lid and browbone. I smoked it out with the bronze shade. To add a bit more drama I have pressed some gold glitter on the centre of the lid. Finished off with a winged eyeliner and mascara. 🙂
