Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick Mademoiselle Review, Swatch, FOTD

Claims : CHANEL presents a modern interpretation of classic creme lip colour as an homage to the rich life and legacy of ‘Coco’ Chanel. New lightweight lip colour glides on for easy application, and features a Hydratendre complex to help soften, soothe and condition lips – even boosting their ability to hold in moisture – for a plumper, smoother and healthier-looking appearance. A range of wearable shades with full-coverage finishes, from matte to pearl to soft shimmer.
Mademoiselle 05 is a lovely rose brown color that looks universally good on almost all skin tones. On light skin tones it would look more pink than brown, on medium skin tones it would show as a medium pinkish brown shade and on darker skin tones it would be “my lips but better” lip color.
Like all rouge cocos, it is amazingly pigmented, feels ultra light on lips, has a staying power of almost 4 hours, not super moisturizing but not drying either. It has just the right amount of creaminess that would glide on your lips easily. It does not move around the lips, nor does it settle in your fine lines. It has a faint rosy smell but no taste as such.
The packging is classy black and the cap closes to a satisfying click. There is Chanel “double C” engraved on the cap and “Chanel” embossed on the lipstick bullet.
The shade is easy peasy every day wear color. A universally flattering one but not a unique one, if I must say so.
I totally love this lipstick- both texture wise and color wise. And honestly, I don’t have a single con to list except that I have found quite a good number of dupes of it. 
Here is the swatch. It is an opaque lipstick and great for those with pigmented lips.

By the way, I have very similar shade in Benefit, which is awesome….its my best lipstick currently. The shade name is “Good to go”……its nice pink based corally shade….I totally love it and its great for everyday use. Its very moisturizing, yet light and non-greasy texture.
