My Experience with Chantecaille Eye Shade Shell and Java
I picked up two beautiful shades from Chantecaille’s eye shades collection. Since I travel often, I wanted to pick the colors in my palette that are easily to work with, an effortlessly work with almost all makeup looks and can be multipurpose. Both the colors are from their ‘shine’ collection.

Shell is a stunning champagne gold color. The best thing about the color is that it is not overly shiny. It has got that stunning pearlescent finish to it. You can use it all over the lid, in inner corners, on brow-bone or even as a cheek highlight. It looks beautiful and natural on both eyes and cheeks. It does not have any flecks of shimmer, it’s more like a muted gold dust. It also has that warm peachy tone to it that makes it such an ideal color for people with warm skin tones. It’s subtle without being dull but it’s enough to make a statement. Some close dupes could be MAC Rice Paper (more yellow than this), Makeup Revolution London Base (less peachy than this)

Java is a stunning copper brown color with specks of gold shimmer through out. The shimmer is ultra fine and beatifully blended with the eyeshadow. It is a stunning neutral color that you could use both for day and evening and it would never fail you. It is a gorrrgeous shade for parties and even for brides. That little hint of gold throughout adds that little sparkle to the otherwise neutral look. A good dupe would be MAC Woodwinked Eyeshadow

Both the eyeshadows are very pigmented, super smooth and blend in like a dream. There is a little or no fall out with both the eyeshadows. They do not crease as well. Plus I have been wearing these from past few months and have never seen any fading with either of them.

This palette has become such a favourite of mine. I can use it without using a mirror too. 😀 Highly recommend these eyeshadows if ever you get a chance to get hold of them.
