Cheap and Effective Facial Moisturizer: Do-it-Yourself

Have you noticed that every cosmetic brand under the sun claims to be effective when it comes to skin brightening, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and other such alluring claims and how those cream jars are minuscule and ridiculously over priced? After one ventures forth and purchases those tiny, expensive jars, they seem to not work at all or lose their potency eventually and we flock to the market again to seek the perfect face cream.

But after I read ingredient list of most the eye creams I noticed they essentially contain a soothing agent and an anti-ageing agent. I combined these required ingredients and voila I got an amazing face cream which actually works.

  1. Hi Sakshi, this is a great DIY 🙂 I’ve started making my own homemade products and it is really cost-effective and works wonderfully! I just thought I’d let you know that carrot seed EO makes skin photosensitive, in case you are using this as a day cream.

  2. Wow Sakshi, another great DIY from you. Loved it! I had not expected this kinda consistency from it. So much goodness in it. I hope I am able to leave my laziness behind an try it.

  3. It’s a really nice DIY Sakshi.. Love it! I will try to make this one for sure but is it ok if I skip aloe vera gel?? I am one of those who are allergic to Aloe Vera :/
