Christian Louboutin Bengali Nail Colour Review

What?$50 for a nail lacquer, is it worth the hype and the price?? Let’s find out! I would be reviewing “Christian Louboutin Bengali Nail Colour” in this post today 🙂 Two stunning nail colors from CL have been reviewed on IMBB before – “Rouge Louboutin” and “Noirs Bianca.”

Product Description:
A high-gloss color in just one coat, and two coats creates the layered effect of traditional nail lacquer. Inspired by calligraphy and paint brushes, the design of the sculpted, tall cap allows for an artistic experience with every swipe. The customized, triangle-brush picks up just the right amount of product, applying the highly-pigmented nail color with flawless coverage.  This bottle itself is a beautiful art object that is meant to be enjoyed as much as the color, and it invites women to enjoy a luxurious application experience. Inspired by the iconic sole of every Christian Louboutin shoe, it is more than just a traditional nail product.

What else you need to know:
Christian Louboutin’s iconic red sole was born after a chance encounter with a transformative stroke of red nail color. 22 years later, the designer is giving back to beauty what the shoe took from the nails many years ago. A main vision of beauty: this polish is meant to amplify women’s assets, not to correct her imperfections. This product is gluten-free and is free of toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP.

My Experience with Christian Louboutin Bengali Nail Colour:

Again, like the Christian Louboutin lipsticks, this nail lacquer is also just a collector’s item. This nail colour bottle looks pretty on the dressing table. I think there are several nail lacquers in the market out there which have better formulation and are worth the price – like the ones from Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Tom Ford, Dolce and Gabbana, Ciate, and many more. The shade that I picked up from Louboutin is “Bengali.”

I kind of like the packaging of this nail paint. It has a massive cap inspired by the famous ballerina heel shoes created by Louboutin which is 8 inches tall. Surprisingly, the long handle makes it easier to apply nail lacquer. It feels like using a pen.

The bristles of the brush pick up the right amount of the product. The nail -lacquer is encased in a unique-shaped bottle.

The quality of this nail paint is amazing, it has a gel-like finish. It’s nicely pigmented and opaque. I was truly amazed by the formula.

The color “Bengali” is a beautiful fuchsia pink colour which looks pretty on the nails. I was hoping that it would last pretty well on the nails, but I noticed chipping the very next day after application, which was quite disappointing for such an expensive product. If you don’t mind reapplying after every 2 or 3 days, then this is a beautiful formula and the shade range is amazing.

They have beautiful bright shades, nudes to dark vampy shades under this brand. The brush makes application easy and precise, and glides on the nails very easily.

The nail paint dries down way faster than average nail polish. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t streak or bubble at all.

Pros of Christian Louboutin Bengali Nail Colour:

  • Pigmented and opaque
  • Beautiful gel-like finish.
  • Unique and luxe packaging.
  • Beautiful shade range.
  • Dries down quickly.
  • Applicator makes application easy.
  • Doesn’t streak or bubble.

Cons of Christian Louboutin Bengali Nail Colour:

  • It chips out the next day after application.
  • Expensive.
  • Availability in India.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Christian Louboutin Bengali Nail Colour?
It’s one of the most expensive nail lacquers out there, but to be honest, it looks very pretty, unique and luxurious. The quality of the nail lacquer is amazing and I don’t mind taking out this pretty bottle after every 2 3 days to reapply. I think it’s the ultimate pleasure for a women to have.
