This shampoo comes in a huge bottle of 500 ml which I dislike.  It’s bulky and takes forever to reach the bottom 😉 Anyway, when I spotted the cleansing shampoo, I picked it up. My Experience with Clairol Hair Food Root Cleansing Shampoo:
Clairol Hair Food Strawberry Ginger Root Cleansing Shampoo comes in an amber-colored bottle. The bottle is huge and transparent and has a huge pump which can be twisted and locked. All the details are printed on the label on the bottle.
The shampoo itself is light pink in color. It has thick gel-like consistency. I usually dilute the shampoo with a little bit of water and use it. A little product, just a dime size is enough for a single use. The shampoo completely washes out the dirt, oil and all product buildup. It works as per the name and leaves my hair and scalp squeaky clean. However, after oiling, I need two washes to wash out the oil completely, but then, that is the case with all other shampoos and I really don’t mind it. While washing, it gives a cool, tingly feeling which feels really nice. Moreover, since it is a cleansing shampoo, I don’t use it regularly, just once in a week or 10 days.  This works fine for my hair since I do not use many styling products on a regular basis.
Normally, my hair becomes very limp due to oily scalp and I generally wash them every alternate day, but this shampoo gives me an additional day. My scalp doesn’t become very oily after using this and so sometimes, when I am too lazy, I wash my hair on the third day. 😉
The shampoo smells delicious. 😛 Yes, the fragrance is truly awesome, it is strawberry fragrance infused with ginger. It gives freshness and my hair smells amazing 🙂

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Clairol Hair Food Root Cleansing Shampoo?
I really liked this shampoo. It does what it claims. Since I use it weekly, this bottle will last me long. I might repurchase it if I do not find any better option. 😉 I would surely recommend to you if you are looking for a shampoo which clears off the product buildup caused by various styling products.
