My Experience with Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream SPF 20:
It comes packaged in a frosted red glass jar with a golden and white screw on cap and an inner plastic lid, which fits perfectly. The plastic lid has a gripper, which aids in opening and closing the lid. The jar is oval shaped, but has a round neck and a round shaped cap. This luxurious jar comes packed in a red and white cardboard box; quite a travel friendly packaging.
Clarins usually has a very good promotion policy, by giving free samples of their products on a minimum amount purchase.I had received a travel size tube of Clarins Super Restorative Cream and that is what eventually led me to buy their full sized cream jar, irrespective of the high price. I really wanted to use this cream and also review it on IMBB. So, what are we waiting for? Let’s get on with my experience.
Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream with SPF 20 is a white coloured cream with a beautiful fragrance. This cream feels thick and heavy to touch in comparison to Clarins Multi Active Day Cream. However it gets absorbed very quickly and easily on to my dry to combination and sensitive skin and the feeling of applying more is there.The results are instant; skin feels firmer, smoother and looks brighter. My skin also feels hydrated and nourished. It replenishes and heals skin weakened due to hormonal changes, stress and environmental conditions. The cream helps protect against UV and sun rays and prevents blemishes and dark spots. Regular use results in long lasting and better results.
I use this cream daily morning after cleansing and exfoliating my face skin. I exfoliate my skin only twice or thrice a week, unless I am using Exfoliating Cleanser, which can be used on daily basis. I have also used foundation and makeup over this cream and have faced no issues. In my opinion, this cream can be used throughout the year and can also be used during cool winters for my dry to combination and sensitive skin.
Company claims this cream can be used by all skin types. Even though it has a thick creamy consistency, does not clog my pores or cause any pimples or breakouts and gets easily absorbed. It does not dry or irritate my sensitive skin; but when I tried using it near my eye contour area, I had burning sensation in my eyes. Due to very hot and humid summers, this happens to me with some perfumed products when my system gets over sensitive or slightly off balance. The only criteria is the price, it is very costly and cannot be bought again and again. It is one of the best anti-ageing creams I have used and is worth the price.
