Clean & Clear Deep Action Oil-free Cream Wash Review

How are you all? The rainy days are here. Finally, we got a break from hot summers. But change in weather brings new challenges for our beautiful skin. For me it’s the stickiness on the face due to humid weather .My skin type is normal and in monsoon it becomes all sticky and oily. So, if I use some oil free face wash to remove excess oil, my skin becomes dry and any creamy face wash doesn’t help much. Last time my hubby and I were in a drugstore and he picked Clean and Clear deep action cream wash for me. He said he had tried this earlier and as its not men’s only face wash so I should give it a try.

Let’s get to the review and see if it really works well to combat oiliness or not.

My Experience with Clean & Clear Deep Action Oil-free Cream Wash :

This oil-free cream wash comes in an aqua green and blue tube packaging. It has a flip open cap which is easy to open up. This 150 ml pack is a little bulky to carry in a handbag and I didn’t find any smaller pack so its not travel-friendly.

The fragrance is mild and reminds me of menthol. I really don’t like the fragrance as its chemical –like and feels like I am applying some toothpaste on my face. I like face washes which smell pleasant.

The cream wash is white in colour and quiet creamy. When I mixed it up with water, it didn’t lather up at all. I felt that it will not clean up the face well as it has no lather. When I applied it on my face I felt like I am applying some non- oily cream mixed with water on my face. To my surprise after washing off with water my skin was feeling squeaky clean and soft. There was no dry or stretchy feeling at all. There was a cool tingling feeling which for a while. I was impressed by the cleaning part. It leaves my skin soft and it feels fresh. I was not expecting much from this and I am glad it does what it claims. I have been using it for last 15 days and it didn’t break me out. I think it will suit oily skin type but people with sensitive skin may have a problem with the tingling sensation. The product does not specify whether it is meant for men or women, but I feel men will like it more because of the menthol smell and cooling sensation.
