Clinic Plus Strong and Long Health Shampoo Review

Hello Girls,

Today, I will be reviewing India’s most popular (according To me) shampoo. I was really surprised to see that Clinic Plus shampoo has not been reviewed on IMBB. I think we can find Clinic Plus shampoo in almost each and every house in India. I am 22 now and I have used this shampoo for the first time recently, yes for the very first time, a few weeks ago.  My husband uses Clinic Plus shampoo to wash his hair, so one day, I thought even I shall try this.

My Take on Clinic Plus Strong and Long Health Shampoo:

The shampoo comes in a white-colored opaque bottle with a blue flip cap. The texture of the shampoo is thick. I diluted the shampoo by adding a lot of water to it because I was a bit worried that it may dry out my hair, so out of this fear, I used it in a very less quantity.  Still I felt that it did some drying effect to my hair, but after applying a good amount of conditioner, it was all good. Overall, it imparts shine to my hair, but if used in a little larger amount, I am very sure it will definitely dry out hair. It has a very strong smell, which stays in the hair for a day or two.

Clinic Plus

Overall, this is not my shampoo. I know if I start using it regularly, it will make my hair dry and dull.

Pros of Clinic Plus Strong and Long Health Shampoo:

  • Fragrance.
  • Removes dirt and sweat effectively.
  • Color of the shampoo :P

Cons of Clinic Plus Strong and Long Health Shampoo:

  • Drying effect.
  • Contains SLS.

My hair after using clinic plus:

Do I Recommend Clinic Plus Strong and Long Health Shampoo?

No, I don’t recommend this shampoo.  You can try this if you have oily scalp, then you may dilute it and use it in a very less quantity.

Will I Repurchase Clinic Plus Strong and Long Health Shampoo?

No, I am not going to repurchase it, not even for my husband.  I will get him some good shampoo.

Aw. My grandma used to wash my hair while I was younger my mom and dad were in Malaysia. And then, now I grew up, I had to fight to let my mom buy whatever that I liked at 14. So I bought Herbel Essences first (Clinic Plus is not sold outside India). This shampoo has the Hydrating one that had Coconut and Orchid, and it smelt really good. It brought shine and the exotic smell didn’t leave my hair until next wash.
But then, I decided to try out a different shampoo suggested by a friend, he said to try out for Sunsik, and I went for the Curl Obedient. The shampoo had a shimmer and smelt refreshing. I have no idea whether it was the Sunsilk or TRESemme Smooth Conditioner(it smells very professional). I hope you do a review on these two products. It gives volume and shine, this combination works for slightly curly hair (i have a mixture of curl and wavy).

sorry, I meant US. and so sorry that I replied twice. Also is Herbal Essences sold in India? I would be visiting recently for College, and thinking of switching back to that shampoo. Thanks.
