Product Description:
A powder foundation and concealer in one for a natural; beyond perfected look, that lasts all day; even through sweat and humidity. Weightless powder makeup covers thoroughly without clogging pores. Skin breathes comfortably, colour stays true. Oil-free, allergy tested and 100% fragrance free.
Application:
Apply where needed or for all over application start in centre of face, blending outward. Use sponge-side for moderate coverage; smooth-velvety side for build-able, fuller coverage; pointed tip to spot-conceal.
Packaging: Clinique beyond perfecting powder foundation comes in a good quality plastic compact with a metal-coloured cover and white-coloured base; packed in a light-colored cardboard box with floral design. The metal-coloured cover and the side clip; both have Clinique written on it. The compact has a mirror and a sponge-applicator. There is ventilation provided at the base of the compact, where the sponge-applicator is stored. This provides breathing space for the sponge applicator and prevents formation of bacteria.
My Experience with Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer:
I was planning to buy Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation and Concealer since the time it was launched and finally bought it in the shade “Golden Neutral.” I have sensitive skin and my skin tone is moderately fair with warm undertones. I like and prefer using powder foundation for regular use; be it summer or winter. I always apply my face cream or moisturiser before using powder foundation.
Clinique beyond perfecting powder foundation and concealer comes with a pear-shaped sponge-applicator which has a pointed tip. This enables precise concealing and access to areas on the face which are difficult to reach; like under eyes, lip corners, and around the nose.
The sponge-applicator has two different textures; sponge-y and velvety, which can be used depending on the level of coverage required. The sponge side delivers light coverage and the velvety side picks up more product which enables to build up medium to full coverage effect. The velvety side can be used to buff the product seamlessly into the skin. I have tried using both sides; sponge side gives sheer coverage and the velvety side medium to full coverage.
The “Golden Neutral” shade shows a bit dark on my moderately fair skin; like a bronzer, but gradually settles down and gives a beautiful glow to my skin in this cold weather. On the very first day of using this product, I was complimented and asked which foundation I had applied. ????
In my opinion, this is one of the best powder foundations I have used. It gives an even and smooth flawless finish to the face, does not accentuate pores nor clog them. However, I would not give it full points as a concealer; it does conceal pores and some discolouration. However, does not completely conceal under eye dark circles and some strong dark spots; I need to use a concealer in my case.
It has a smooth texture, easy to apply and feels like second skin. Skin feels soft and smooth, does not feel powdery and does not transfer at all. It does not dry or irritate my sensitive skin. In my opinion, Clinique beyond perfecting is a perfect powder foundation and a mild concealer.

Cons of Clinique Beyond Perfecting Powder Foundation + Concealer:
- Conceals pores and mild discolouration, but does not cover them up completely.

Yes, I recommend Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer to all, who would like to give it a try. You can choose the shade suitable to your skin tone, from a variety of shades available; however, before buying please check the shade on your face.
