My Experience with Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss Raspberry:

In my opinion, lipsticks have an upper hand on lip glosses in terms of longevity, pigmentation and opacity. But for those leaning towards more natural look or suffering from dry lips, the love for lip glosses is justified. If you have dry, parched lips, Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss is the solution.

slant tip applicator

Starting with the packaging, Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss is packed in a clear and squeezable tube with a slanted nozzle applicator. In contradiction with regular doe foot applicator packaging, this one comes handy for on-the-go reapplications. The application is neat without being tacky. The gloss is super moisturizing; too good for the driest lips, it’s packed with vitamin E and other beneficial ingredients. The tube is a burst of hydration and moisture all in one. It makes lips feel soft and supple, giving a comfort and relief in winters and that too without being sticky. It is a chemical and fragrance free product, and dermatologically tested.

swatch

The shade raspberry is a sheer red, with no shimmer particles but it is really high on shine. It gives a fuller and plumper effect to lips. With high shine it looks glamorous in spite of the sheer coverage; yet the pigmentation is too good for the gloss. You can always use it as a top coat for any matte lipstick belonging to red or hot pink color family. The color stays on lips for few hours but the moisture stays all day long. The price is on the higher side for a lip gloss yet the quality of the product justifies the bucks you invest in Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss Raspberry?
Yes! I am looking forward to shade Apricot for repurchasing the formula. This is the darkest shade in the range but some subtle nudes, brown and pinks are also available and equally beautiful.
