Now that’s a Swedish Hello. Well the past few days have been really exciting for me as I was on my toes to get to you the reviews of all of my Coastal Scents eye shadow Hot Pots. This is the last one in the lot and I must say that apart from Deep Grape (which was a complete miss), I am very happy with the eye shadows. They are a complete value for your money.

An intense, rustic red hue with a matte finish. A 1-inch metal pan that contains a highly pigmented eye shadow for multiple applications. Each Coastal Scents Hot Pot™ fits snugly into one of the Go Pod, 4 Piece, 12 Piece, and 28 Piece Interchangeable Palettes. These custom palettes contain magnets in soft foam padding which attract the metal pan of the Hot Pot™. This allows you to completely customize your palette to create any look by simply adding interchangeable Hot Pots™ from the vast collection of shades, hues, and finishes.

My Experience with Coastal Scents Hot Pot B06 Venetian Red:

This eye shadow comes in a 1 inch metal pan, 2.5 cm in diameter packed in a re-open able hard plastic case.

Venetian Red is a rustic red color eye shadow. This one is a complete matte shade. Texture wise this one is also very soft and glides easily on the eyelids making the application smooth. It is not very bright and is the same shade as a watermelon (the fruit and not the other shade named Watermelon that I have reviewed from the lot). The pigmentation is good and the color looks very pretty with a single swipe. The color can also be built up with multiple swipes. I personally like it a little darker when going out for night parties. A smoky eye with this rustic red and black looks deadly.

Rustic red is blendable, but the blending is visible only when layering is done using this color. Although it looks a little dry from swatches, in reality it is not. It stays good for around 5-6 hours after which it fades away, but leaves a pinkish red tint on eyelids. This one again is one of my favorites from the coastal scents hot pots lot.

Yes. I would also like to try the shimmer or metallic finish ones in this shade.
