Colorbar 003 Pink Sheer Glass Lipgloss Review

People have been telling me that Colorbar should make me their brand ambassador, I beg to disagree! They should rather link IMBB to their customers for the honest reviews. Thanks to my bosses, I have always had the liberty to say what exactly I feel about a product and not get biased in any way.

My Experience with Colorbar 003 Pink Sheer Glass Lipgloss:

Packaging:
The outer silver paper carton is similar to other products from Colorbar. It has all the required information and claims regarding the product. On one end, there is a color coded sticker with the shade name and number. The tube is like the regular glosses, a bit chubby and sturdy enough with a silver cap. The applicator is the normal sponge one that picks up enough product for a single application. The base of the tube has the shade name, number and dates of manufacturing and expiry. I would say that it is smart and functional at the same time.

Texture:
The lip gloss applies like a layer of super shiny, thick and sheer color. Colorbar has named it just right! It is sheer with good quantity of pigment and shines like a glass. I would say this is a gloss lover’s dream. Super shiny, with required color. What more can a gloss lover ask for!

Shade:
003 Pink is a muted, typical pink with bluish undertones. It is a pretty girly shade, apt to wear to the college. It is sure to turn heads if you wear it as a top-up to your regular/matte pink lip color to parties. This is one of a kind of gloss, rarely I have come across such a shiny lip color with absolutely no shimmer.

Staying Power:
Despite being a gloss, it stays on for more than 4 hours at a stretch! It fades a bit from the centre of the lower lip after a full meal, but the shade will not completely disappear from the lips. A bit of touch up post-meal might be required. Even after the color vanishes, the lips remain moisturized and supple for a few hours.

This is a beautiful shade for young girls and for your parties to wear as a top-up to the matte lipstick.
