The festival of Diwali is here and it is all going to be about lights, glitters and sparkles all around. And to add some more glitters, I got this lip gloss from Colorbar’s ‘Diamond Shine’ range. I got the shade “Pink Flash”; so let’s see how this worked for me.

My Experience with Colorbar 05 Pink Flash Diamond Shine Lip Gloss:

Packaging:
The Colorbar diamond shine lip gloss comes in their signature style packaging with a glossy silver box. The gloss comes in a sleek cylindrical bottle and looks same like the other glosses. It is very handy and the product looks really nice too. The gloss tube is a see-through one, which helps us to see the shade clearly. The price is pretty high for a sheer gloss with just a hint of colour. The shades in this range are almost the same.

Shade:
The shade “Pink Flash” is a bright pink colour with loads of little glitters and sparkles. The sparkles are very visible and give that “Diamond Shine”. I layer it 2-3 times on my lips to build up the colour. The colour with glitters will suit fair to medium skin tones very well. The colour looks super pink initially, but later it subsides a bit, showing a light sheer pink shade. I wish the shades were more pigmented and the range had a wider shade selection. The range has a lot of similar shades that look almost the same on the lips.

Texture and finish:
The lip gloss glides very smoothly on my lips. It has a thick texture but is not sticky. But yes, you have to keep your hair away from your lips else they are sure to mess up the gloss. The finish is a dazzling one and is best for the festive season, wedding or parties. It has small shimmer particles which are visible but won’t bother much.

Staying power:
The staying power of the lip gloss is around 3-4 hours which is good for a gloss. But I wish it stayed for a longer time period since it is expensive. It does transfer as it is a gloss. If you have a meal, then the gloss and the colour partially come off. So it is better you use this gloss when you have to chit-chat more and not when you are planning to eat a lot.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Colorbar 05 Pink Flash Diamond Shine Lip Gloss?
I am not very sure about repurchasing this one. I think not everyone would like something with so much shimmer and glitter. In fact, Colorbar’s other glosses are anytime better. So if you like simple and subtle glosses with some sparkles, then go for this one.
Conclusion:
I like their other glosses a lot better than this one. I wish these had more colour.
