Colorbar Enchanting Eyeshadow Trio: Feeling Blue Review

Colorbar Enchanting Eyeshadow Trio Feeling Blue Review

I am reviewing another trio from Colorbar, considering the top of the line quality these have.  I have already reviewed another gorgeous one called “Seductively Nuede,” which is a bronze, copper and brown one, all shimmery metallic shades. This one is the second one I have out of the five available.  Colobar has these trios in color families of purple, pink, blue, brown and green. I own the blue and the brown one as I honestly feel those are most wearable ones out of the five.

I absolutely fell for the pigmentation and the shimmer metallic finish these have.  Initially, I thought these won’t be available all over, but I have been seeing them everywhere.  Once you see them at the counter, swatch them and see how glorious these are, you can’t resist picking them up since they are Rs. 550 for a trio which is not so bad in my opinion.

Eyeshadow Trio 1

The shades are well tailored; there is a gorgeous deep blue which I love the most.  Then, there is lighter blue which may look too light for me sometimes and then the silver one is too good to be true.  The silver one is very pigmented, in fact the most pigmented out of the three, but I love the blue one the most for crease or even for an all-over smokey look.  The silver is good in the centre of the lid.  The blue one doesn’t compliment my skin at all.

Eyeshadow Trio 2

The texture is so soft that you really need to go easy and light with this one.  If you pick up more, it gets difficult to blend in and its best to pat it on lightly.  The pigmentation like I said is through the roof.

Blue Eyeshadow

The staying power I would say is fine when you put it on a dry base.  For my oily lids, I used it at 10 AM and by the time it was 3 pm, it creased a lot on me without a base. So, I would say you would get a lot out of it in case you put on a base.

Blue Eyes

Last Word:

I think its well priced considering the top of the line quality it has. Use it on a base to get an 8-hour stay I would say.  The colors are high shine metallic and the pigmentation and texture is excellent.
