Colorbar Full Finish Long Wear Lipstick – Vintage

This is one of the new shades Colorbar has launched in this range. The shades earlier were darker but Tempt me has been a favorite for me since long. This one is a hot pink and I picked up and it badly reminded me of Faces ultime pro lipsticks in packaging and this shade too is like Read my lips from Faces ultime pro. Nevertheless Colorbar is my fav and I could not hold myself back from getting this matte long wear lipstick.
The lipstick is comes in a slender pretty tube and the bullet is slim, in fact you would notice you get very less lipstick in there but still it is so pigmented and intense that you need lesser lipstick.Anyway I think the packaging is little plasticky for the cost of 825!
The lipstick is very thick and intense, you know once you swipe it, with little pressure, you get the hottest pink.I love the fact that it is bright and very very matte. The color is matte shimmer free pink and it goes on intense and thick on the lips. It covers the lip pigmentation but honestly you have to take time to wear it well, since it really hugs and sets to a slightly sticky finish after 30 seconds.It is very thick so your lips can feel that you are wearing a lipstick.
The lipstick is super matte, it can be quite uncomfortable in two swipes. Dry lips can skip this range as it settles and find lines can be made very conspicuous in no time. I do not have dry lips despite that it made me very aware of wearing a heavy dry lipstick.But I love matte so much that I have no issues.
The color is very bright so only fair and medium skin wear it. It can stand out so make up must be kept minimal. The lipstick is true to claim of being long lasting, it stays 6 plus hours without meals but as you eat, the color from inner lips fades and only the lip outline has bright color, which makes it awkward.
I recommend this lipstick to matte bright pink lovers without dry lips, it is heavy and dry, so wear it with caution 😛 I love matte and pinks and the pigmentation is fantastic so I rate it:
