Colorbar High Definition Kohl Eye Liner Review

Today I shall be reviewing Colorbar High Definition Kohl Eye liner. No product has ever confiused me as this and I regret to say that I don’t really have a definite verdict on it. Well yes… I have mixed feelings about it… There! I said it
First things first, I got this kohl by mistake. I went to get myself a Colorbar I-Glide pencil in black but after paying my bill, the SA handed me over this. I didnt quite check it cause I was in a hurry, plus all Colorbar pencils and their cartons look very similar So, you can say that I got hoodwinked

Well anyways, the pencil comes in an attractive Silver and black carton, which looks something like this:

Inside, the pencil cover is grey in color and is in roll-on form. You see this when I realised my mistake of not getting an _-Glide pencil but some other kajal pencil Well anyways, this is how it looks…

What the Colorbar site claims?

Well, strangely the colorbar site does not mention this kohl at all. Either it is extremely old and discontinued or it’s a latest product! Ladies, any pointers here?

COLOR

Well, it’s black and the name of the shade is also “Just Black”. It is black and quite “jet”. No problem in that department It swatches beautifully on the hand and seems pretty smooth The swatch is as follows:

As you all can see, it really is black and the swatch is just 2-swipes old.

Now I come to the weird part. It refuses to get applied on my eyes. It is not easy to be applied on either my waterline or on my lashline! It just simply says NO! An image as proof:

As you can see, it looks charcoal grey and not black on the eyes And do note that this is the color that I got when i swiped the kajal 27 times!! I swear! No exaggeration! You see, after this I totally gave up on the product and felt really cheated out of my money But… Oh yes! There is a but here, I had totally forgotten about the swatch of the kajal on my hand. I noticed it while washing my hands before dinner that the swatch line was as is with no smudges… Do you get me? NO SMUDGES at all!!! Is that even possible? Well, then i tried washing it off with water but it would still not budge!!! I swear it didn’t even smudge under the tap!!!! Only with soap did it actually flake out and got erased!!!

You see, now this really impressed me. I went totally GA GA over the kohl, so I tried improvising with it. So, I came to a conclusion that if I swipe the kajal 27 times and then apply a bit of liquid liner on it, it actually stays on and also looks black It’s a compromise but it sure works

How much did I get it for?

Well, like I said earlier, I paid for an I-Glide pencil but got this by mistake or errrr by the SA’s cunningness so am not really sure how much it costs and the carton doesn’t really have a price sticker on it.so in all I pair Rs.325/- for it!

•    Doesn’t smudge
•    Is water resistant and water proof
•    It’s in a roll on form that I prefer over pencils
•    The carton is very pretty to look at

CONs of Colorbar High Definition Kohl Eye Liner

•    Zero color payoff on the eye.

Will I purchase this again?
Well no!!!
