Colorbar Limited Edition Lipstick Photos, Swatches

Colorbar has launched these range of limited edition lipsticks. These are in the shades of browns and reds. A few of these have a soft sheen with no shimmer while a few have obvious shimmers in them.

The packaging has these metallic blue, pink and lemony green casing. I didn’t like the packaging too much but that’s just a personal preference. icon smile Colorbar Limited Edition Lipstick Photos, Swatches

Price Rs 450

Sweet Tart 01 : It is medium soft brown lip color. It does not have shimmer.

Gorgeous nude 010 : Pretty nude yellow based brown lip color. I see it working only on a few people. It may look quite washed out on dusky skin tones.

Wine Anytime 006 It is a brown with wine undertones to it. It is quite a deep color.

Swatches : l-r sweet tart, gorgeous nude, wine anytime

Beige Pink 06 : True to its name it is a soft beige pink lipstick with goldne shimmers to it. Also the finish is semi sheer. You would ahve to swipe a few tiems to get the real color. The shimmers felt quite gritty with this one.

009 Velvetty Ruby : It is a shimmery wine red lipstick

Lick That Plum 003 : A plummish brown with no shimmer

Except beige pink all lipsticks are decently pigmented. They are quite buildable and and can be brought to a completely opaque finish.

I wonder why such a price rise when they sell such lovely lipsticks in the range of Rs 250- Rs 300 ?

Which shade did you like the most?

i might as well put another 450 and buy a MAC Lippy… as it is it seems that a MAC lippy will be better than 2 of this range… no offense COLORBAR but really I like your lipsticks just that this one seems sooo expensive for its worth…

I had a ColorBar lipgloss which recently got over and I was planning to get another one. I rushed to read this review soon as I saw it, but Rs. 450?? Disappointing :wilt: !!

tru! 450 is disappointing.. they made such pretty lipsticks at decent prices, they are a better bet i guess.

All pretty nice shades, but very pricey. And agree with you on the packaging. I like sweet tart and lick that plum. the red is a pretty brave colour too!

I wouldn’t buy this.Ever. :nono:
It cost so much plus…the packaging is a gigantic turn-off. It looks like one of those tacky lipsticks you find in fancy stores…it sort of reminds me of some James Bond-ess gadget. :lol2:
:phoolan:
But some of those colours do seem a little tempting… :sidefrown:

I didn’t find any of the shades THAT tempting..they cud have included 1-2 more pinks I think. The price is a big turn-off!
