Blush is something that we do not speak of that often but it is one thing that can totally up the makeup game. I am very picky about blushes as I tend to overdo it being super excited. Today we are talking about the Luminous Coral shade by Colorbar, which is a pretty underrated product in my opinion.

Differentiate step by step
• Begin with the contour, or darkest, shade in your Instant Cheekbones palette and apply to the hollow space below the cheekbone.
• Apply the medium shade to the apples of your cheeks and sweep upwards toward the hairline to get the perfect flush
• For a youthful glow, highlight the tops of your cheeks with the lightest shade.

My Experience with Colorbar Luminous Coral Luminous Rouge Blush:

Starting off with the packaging, it is lovely to say the least. There is something very appealing about the way the pan looks. It comes in an outer silver paper carton packaging which has all the information about the product. There are 3 shades packed in one which is good and bad at the same time. Good because you get options and the liberty of mixing and matching and bad because the placement of the shades require special attention while working with.

The texture of the blush is smooth and it glides easily both on bare skin and over base makeup. It shows up like crazy on the skin, thanks to the unbelievable pigmentation of the blush. It blends easily on the skin without much effort. One swipe gives enough color on the cheeks so it is advisable to go slow with this, you can always build up the color. There is no chalky feel to the blush; it is easy to work with and does not form up powder-layer on the pan like most blushes. Less is more with this blush, so it is going to last very long.

The shade Luminous coral is a gorgeous trio of peachy coral, warm orange and basic warm brown. You can use them together or separately as per your liking. There is certain sheen to the blush which looks absolutely wonderful on the skin. I like matte blushes but this one gives a dose of healthy glow to the skin unlike the cheap shimmery blushes. It is slightly difficult to pick a single color from the pan due to the arrangement but nothing that cannot be mastered with the right tool.

The staying power is again a winner. It stays put over base makeup till you remove it. I have worn it up to 7 hours without touch up and it stayed just as fresh. Without base the blush stays for about 5 hours with bit of fading. Overall this is a great trio to have in your collection, just that you have to be a bit careful while application and the price tag is a bit high.
